"My favorite spot to hit during the Sturgis bike rally. cross the creek and see the falls up close!"
"It was the most beautiful views I have ever experienced. I highly recommend taking the time to look at the views."
"Beautiful spot for taking pictures and walking around. We enjoyed watching a small herd of mountain goats. The 2 babies were having a great time playing. It's amazing to watch them being so sure footed on the steep hills. We walked right along next to them, and they didn't even care."
"We started our journey here. I would highly recommend starting here, it's a great place to kick things off. I wish we had our motorcycle it's such a beautiful place to ride through. The waterfall might seem like the pinnacle of the drive, but it's not, it's everything else on the way."
"We started down Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway and stopped at Bridal Veil Falls, Spearfish Falls, and Roughlock Falls. Bridal Veil Falls (60ft) has a small parking lot across the street. You can get a great photo from the overlook on the platform. If you have time, bring water shoes to hike down the stream to get to the base of the waterfall. If you’re facing the waterfall then go down on the left side of the platform and come back up the same way. It has huge boulders that create “stairs” pathway. We had ages as young as 4 and they were all capable of this hike. Our parents in their 80s stayed back to watch our stuff. The water is extremely cold at first so be prepare for that initial shock. You can balance your way across the log but it’s slippery and so are the rocks. Short distant to the base and it’s so worth it!"
