"Had the pizzas for the first time. Loved the supreme and breakfast. Didn't try the pepperoni but others said they were very good. Would suggest getting pizza boxes."
"I had a group of customers heading to central SD for a pheasant hunt and we decided to change our itinerary since we were ahead of schedule. We ended up hungry and found the Hay Shed in Gayville, SD. Paula (owner, chef and barmaid) was awesome. If you want good food and cold beer and you happen to be within 30 miles, find it. Paula’s enthusiasm for her business and town is off the chart’s great. This location will be in my rotation for May, July and October. We were welcomed like regulars. 10 out of 10. Woot Woot from Ohio Ag folks."
"This place is another "Diamond in the rough". Great Food. Great Service. Super friendly group of people."
"omg I just had THE BEST onion rings I have ever eaten in my entire life and I've had many... was going to get an order to take with me for later and I'm not kidding! the owner was amazing... very funny and friendly.... will be going back no questions asked!"
"Decent food. Owner is really nice. But the last time I went in, her and her family watched me and my 1yr old sit down and didn't help us for 10min until I asked "Are you open?" She then explained that she thought I was a high schooler. (I also was 6months pregnant) And then to top it off I waited 20min to get fried pickles. When no one else was in the restaurant. I totally understand things happen, just keep the line of communication open with customers if you screw something up or if the wait time will be long."
