"There are 3 pizzas in the area that I crave. Tomacelli's in Sioux Falls. Dar's in Pipestone and Pizza King, Brookings. I live in Sioux Falls. I drive to Brookings just to pick up a par baked pizza and bring it home to serve the family. When I lived in Brookings in the Mid 80's to early 90's you chose one side of the street or the other for your pizza choices. That choice told me really all I needed to know about you. Me and mine; we were East side of the Street Pizza people and West side of the street drinkers (Jim's Tap). Stop in. Grab a pie. Take a couple home. You'll be happy you did."

"Pizza King is a staple when we travel to Brookings. It’s been around forever and the pizza luckily hasn’t changed. When all of our family is together we get 2 large cheese, 1 pepperoni and 1 sausage and mushroom. It’s a thin crust pizza cut into squares. Yes, it’s greasy but that’s what makes it so good. We carry it out and it’s not very expensive. They still take checks! No cards though. It’s bare bones inside, still seems to be original from what I remember as a kid."

"We were in town from IL and hungry for pizza, so we gave them a try. Bytheway, recommended by Hotel clerk. Simple straight forward menu... pizza! Good prices, friendly service. We had the Great Meat Combo, added mushrooms. Crust was nice and thin, and crunchy. Delicious!"
