"Dr Shomrock and his excellent staff literally saved my life after a St Luke's surgeon would not listen to my post- surgery requests for help . Dr Shomrock recognized the signs of sepsis. Dr S saw me regularly and provided excellent care until my wound healed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr S... Thank you Dr S !!"
"I have seen Dr. Morgan now on two separate occasions, and he has been great. I credit him with my speedy recovery after a treatment from another doctor that did not heal my wound on my heel. I would definitely recommend him"
"If you have pyoderma gangrenosum the current Physician's "philosophy" is to debride, every visit. If you have private insurance (not Medicare) be ready to shell out the surprise billing $$$ for operating room costs (debridement) and supplies. Changes in treatment philosophies and charges for treatment make this facility a non-viable option and the staff is "powerless" to make any changes. You can refuse debridement and supplies. Buying supplies elsewhere will save you substantial dollars especially if you are coming in biweekly. What a disappointment when one needs help. UPDATE: Expect the Dr to lie about services rendered and billed. Dr. wrote that I had a surgical debridement on two occasions and billed for that service, when I requested an audit the hospital auditors only look at the Dr's documentation (which is completely infallible of course) so they refused to correct. The hodpital doesn't keep inventory of the debridement kits conveniently so there was no way to prove my memory of what happened to me was correct versus a Dr that sees countless people. The Dr even said he did not recall. Any Dr that knows pyoderma gangrenosum would not complete a surgical debridement on a PG patient every two weeks for three weeks, I would not have allowed it, yet here we are. Dr's lies mean more than the truth from the patient. I have zero kind words to say here. Filing complaints against Dr and hospital."
"I was in this hospital for fourteen days and I have never experienced their approach to patient care. Every morning, Saturday and Sunday included 6 - 8 doctors, nurses, pharmacy and out processing member huddled around my bed and took turns asking how I feel and what the plans and processes would be for the day and then take the time to let me ask any questions, or needed anything (I would always say, yes to go home! Lol) They called it the morning huddle. But if anything came up they would come and tell me as soon as they found out. I was very surprised when my podiatrist came in Saturday morning to perform my surgery. I felt very safe and cared for and I would recommend them to everyone!"
"As the manager of the wound healing center, I stand by our exceptional quality of care and healing rates. As the manager I strive to continue our success and excellent patient experience. I hope every experience can be a great one!"
