"Dr. Alex Goldsmith is the best doctor in the world! He is smart, kind, responsive and truly cares about his patients. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor. He knows exactly what to do to make you feel better, and he doesn’t make you wait for an appointment if there is a prescription he can get for you to treat your illness right away. I highly recommend Dr. Goldsmith and the caring team at Colorado Center for Medical Excellence. They truly are EXCELLENT!"
"I have been impressed since the first day with Colorado Center of Medical Excellence and Dr. Alex Goldsmith. He is one of the brightest and nicest humans I have ever meet. There isn’t a question related to your lab or general health and well being that he can’t answer. I highly recommend the practice."
"Dr. Cara Dawson is one of the most intellegent human beings you will ever meet. She is an excellent diagnostician. She is kind, thoughtful and really takes the time to listen to her patients. I have been a loyal patient for 6-7 years and wouldn't think of seeing another doctor. You will not be disapointment in the level of service or professionalism that she provides."
"Without significant changes, there are NO circumstances where I would recommend this practice. Family care with the added indignity of a subscription fee. I cancelled in March, after two months of care for reasons to follow. The annual fee is $2500, which is supposed to cover all visits. Although, two months of care at a subscription price of $2500 = ~$420, I was charged $777 after I was promised a full refund. What is curious is, the request for payment came from the staff, and ONLY after asked for the provider to refill my prescriptions until I was able to establish care with another practice. The staff member processing the charge explained $777 charge was to cover the visits and the labs. NOT TRUE! In addition to the $777, I charged $780 by the insurance company for the tests and labs with the total charges equal to $1550 for two months of ineffective care. There were warning signs from the beginning. After signing the contract in January, I never received a fully executed copy of the contract, nor were onboarding instructions provided. Upon submitting the intake forms to the practice reception email address, no confirmation was provided. A few weeks later, I received a text for an unknown number who didn’t identify themselves but asked for a copy of my insurance card. When I explained that the insurance information was provided in the intake forms, the unidentified person didn’t respond. Apart from the random text and EHR messages with the provider, no digital communication channels are used for basic tasks like appointment scheduling, which is NO different than a traditional setting. Appointment scheduling could ONLY be done by phone but I never reached a human being EVERY time I called. Expect the office to call and good luck if cant answer because of work, phone calls or video conference. Availability and wait times were the same as a traditional setting. In January, I was told the practice was prepared for virtual appointments. Eventually, the provider would meet virtually (Zoom), but virtual appointments did not start on time and each time, this was blamed upon the staff. For me, this has less to do with the money but more to do with the fact that this practice fails to meet the expectations of "concierge" and demonstrates no appreciation for the confusing, frustrating and inefficient patient experience. Ive shared these observations directly with the staff and hope they improve."
"Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE, from the receptionist to the Doctors themselves, are kind, generous, and helpful. I’ve been a patient with Dr Alex Gldsmith for over 15 years, and he always taken care of me with such compassion and attention to detail. I’m planning on being his patient until I die, he is that good. The entire staff are always friendly, listen to any concerns I have, and return calls in less time than most Doctors or medical offices. The chairs and couch in the waiting room are tremendously comfortable too!"
