"The services are fine. The surprise came after. They say on their website no surprise fees, and yet I got stuck with a $5000 bill for preventative labs afterwards, although I have a PPO plan. Extremely dismissive as I was trying to make sense of those bills. Not worth the hassle."

When that changed in January 2024, I reached back to Forward to restart and was immediately taken care of by them. I like the virtual visits, in-app support and the in person visits."

"I signed up a couple years ago before they opened with the promise that they'd reach out to me to inform me they'd opened. They didn't contact me, and instead silently charged me $149/month for 2 YEARS. When I reached out, they acknowledged the error and said they'd refund everything but the initial 6 month commitment. Great! Companies make mistakes. I get it. As long as they'll make it right it's all good. I agreed, but asked they waive the next 6 months of fees so I can use the 6 months I've already paid for. They refused. And so here we are. I'm out 6 months of service, and will never get an appointment without paying more money. That's not okay, especially when they knew they dropped the ball on contacting me. So it's a one-star for me. Hopefully other people have a good experience."
"Forward offers the most comprehensive, collaborative and timely medical care and advice that I've received in the (almost) 30 years I've lived in the US. Unless going for an annual medical exam where you fear asking questions and change the insurance billing from annual to diagnostic, you have no such fears. Each of the providers that I've met in person and virtually have been very personable and knowledgeable."
