"It took me three months to get my appointment with this doctor. By the time I got in for my appointment, I did arrive a half hour early like they requested. Waited over an hour asked them how much later the doctor would be running. They let me know he would be running, at least another hour.. So that means altogether, I would be waiting a full two hours for my appointment. I didn’t realize that an order to see this doctor you had to book out a full day to sit and wait to see him. Since I didn’t have a full day, I ended up having to leave. The ladies at The front desk were not helpful and were rude because I would not wait several hours for the doctor. They were also not happy that I was not aware and did not want to pay an extra $50 for a fee to pay for administration that I’m not even sure what that is for exactly. They said the fee was just for once a year but since I only go in for checkups once a year, that means I pay $50 every time I go in to see the doctor on top of my co-pay. I am wondering why this doctor is so arrogant that he thinks that someone should wait 2 to 3 hours to see him and pay all this extra fees. Let’s just say I will not be making an appointment to see him because I don’t think he really is that good. It’s always frustrating when they make sure you’re not allowed to be even five minutes late or they charge you for the appointment but they can run as late as they want and expect you to wait for them. they are just people whether they realize it or not. I would not recommend anybody seeing this doctor not that you actually would get in to see him."
"My initial attempts dealing with the office staff were challenging- securing an appointment and a call back after endless messages. After securing an appointment- waiting 6 weeks, the staff called requesting to reschedule another 3 weeks -- I declined and my appointment was intact. I arrived on time at their new office location (which they forgot to mention on any of their appointment reminders) and was asked for my co-pay and a $50 "ADMINISTRATIVE FEE". When I asked what that included-- I was told it covered copying, postage and the time of the office staff to handle any anticipated insurance work on my behalf. Pretty slick uptick- um - no thank you - that's included in billable fees. While I don't mind paying my concierge PCP an annual fee- I'm not handing an extra fee to a physician staff to cover his overhead costs of operation. The office receptionist insisted she told me about this fee- I'm quite sure she didn't == as I would have declined to schedule with any practice attempting to collect such a nonsense fee. I also declined to leave my name on the check in clipboard with all patients' names, phone numbers in full view-- HIPAA violation. The front staff did ask the physician on my request to see me without the $50 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE - I guess had I read the review prior I would have realized the arrogance of the physician and his interesting attempt to cover costs of his newly remodeled office setting. So while I didn't get to see the physician- I felt this was a business operation first and a patient care situation second- . I'll ask my PCP for different provider. I'll update review- suspect they will attempt to bill my insurance for the non-visit today."
"I’ve been a patient for several years. Dr. Rampy and Michelle go above and beyond for their patients. They truly care and take time to provide the best possible care while considering every option and your other diagnosis’. I can’t recommend them enough for new patients or someone who needs to transition from an existing neurologist."
"Dr. Rampy has been very thorough, professional and extremely compassionate. I have been his patient for 10 years and he has also been very patient with me through my migraines. I highly recommend Dr. Rampy and his staff are AWESOME!"
"Despite the fee that I pay once a year for my annual visit, Dr. Rampy and his team have been a great asset to my healthcare. He is the top neuro guy in my books as I have been to one that didn't care at all about his patients even after I had my second seizure under his care. Dr. Rampy has a great understanding of his patients and their health care."
