"Truly a horrible expierence! Please read, warning to expecting mothers. First of all I had 4 appointments at this office, not once did I get to see the same doctor. They say it's in our favor since who knows who will deliver the baby. I beg to differ. Each physician had a different opinion and scope of health plan. So I got different guidance each visit. They told me certain blood work was required due to my age, which was not the case so my insurance didn't cover it. Ultimately resulting me owning over 1100.00 for one set of blood work. The conversations in the rooms with the providers were not always appropriate and focused on the reason why I was there. I am pregnant with my second child. I found this place online and was a patient here from week 8 to week 20. I am horrified by my expierence. My only good visit with them was at the Avista location at week 8. I had my ultrasound done at week 12, during this ultrasound the tech was pretty aggressive, yes aggressive. I made a comment about it but she continued. The next day I literally had bruises on my lower abdomen. It was so tender to the touch if anything rubbed against it I was in significant pain. I called the office to discuss and got a email back saying this pain is normal with transvaginal scans. I wrote back this was a abdominal scan and nothing was inserted. They had no care, nor did she even look to see what scan I had. Week 18 I had already felt consistent baby movements for at least 2 weeks. But at about 18 weeks I didn't feel the baby move for 6 days! As I became worried at day 3 I called and asked to be seen, even just with a doppler to make sure it had a heart beat. They REFUSED TO SEE ME! Told me sometimes this happens and even if there is no heart beat there was no intevention they can do at 18 weeks...how insensitive. Day 4 of no fetal movement I called again to get the same response except now they told me if I was that worried to go to the ER or go buy a doppler to check at home. Honestly I was in tears, panicked worried and simply just wanted to check for a heartbeat. I was so disappointed they told me to go to ER or buy my own doppler. I did buy my own doppler and had no luck with a heartbeat. I finally day 6 felt the baby again and cried with relief. At that moment I knew I needed to change OBGYN's, as I couldn't let a careless, heartless office delivery my baby safely. My first born was a high risk pregnancy and I was on bed rest for 2 months, this office didn't take my story seriously. I felt alone and unheard. Mommas take care of you and the baby and do not go here! It's a dangerous office. I am so happy I switched offices and as much anxiety that brought brought change offices mid pregnancy it's the best thing I did!"

"I had a poor experience all around. First off, this clinic does not make it clear that they have a religious affiliation. It’s difficult to share additional details in a public place but after an upsetting appointment, Dr. Sundahl told my husband and I to “go home and have a nice dinner” which is incredibly insensitive and terrible bedside manner. The front desk also asked questions that they should have been informed of rather than putting me in an uncomfortable position to answer in a waiting room. I would not recommend this practice."

"I have always felt extremely comfortable with CHPG but recently switched doctors for a more convenient location after moving. This latest appointment was for my first prenatal check up and the ultrasound tech, medical assistant, nurse and Dr. were all extremely thorough and kind. I felt cared for and feel so lucky I get to have my entire prenatal and L&D experience with CHPG."
