"The Chicken and Waffles were fantastic as was the breakfast burrito! You can tell the chef really understands flavor profiles!"
"We ate here for brunch this morning and the food was phenomenal! We split the breakfast pizza and french toast. The breakfast pizza was so yummy, the crust and dough were fluffy and I savored every bite. The only thing I would change is maybe a crumbled sausage for a meat instead of bacon (I’m just not a big bacon fan). The french toast though… I am not much of a sweets person but I could eat this every single day and not get sick of it. Not overly sweet and had some crunch, so so good. The service was lacking a bit. They’re still trying to find their groove so give them a little grace as they figure it out! They could benefit from an extra server or host/busser and I’d recommend opening earlier! I’m so excited to have this place in the neighborhood, it’s absolutely worth it and I’ll be back for sure."
"We have been trying to visit this place for a while, and now I am hooked. First of all, let's start with the service. Maggie was handling SO many tables when we cozied up to the bar, but it was still perfect service. Their bottomless is $23, and that is reasonable. Maggie, thanks. We had to go home and clean, and although our initial cleaning was fun, we then quit on it. Tomorrow sounds good. No sports on the TV, so don't go for that, but when you drink bottomless watching San Diego PB waves at a bar owned by a SD owner, what are the complaints? Wife said the shrimp and grits were the best she has had in years, and I will go to bat and say the crabcake sandwich with egg might have been the best crabcake anything outside of Maryland or Maine. Energy and music were great, and unique. You will go there and probably Shazam some songs. Boom. Bottled hot sauce, and I hope the kitchen reads this and creates some SD hot sauce that blows my mind next time. VERY minor complaints. Can't wait to try the burrito and burger. Definitely recommend and see you there."
"I finally tried this new neighborhood spot and can’t wait to return! The decor and feel is adorable, the tables are comfortable and spaced perfectly. Emily was great at welcoming us, making menu suggestions and was attentive to our needs throughout our whole stay. I had the chilaquiles (my go to) with carne asada and they were very flavorful and the serving size is generous. My friend had a crab cake Benedict which she enjoyed and the potatoes were SO good! I look forward to returning for bottomless mimosas and stuffed churros!"
"5 stars for everything, Food, service, and atmosphere. Love the vibe and the food. We had Crab Cake Benedict, Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, Espresso martini, Blueberry Bliss, and White Russian. Everything was delicious! Staff was extremely helpful and kind. We will definitely be back to try more things."
