"This is a review I hate to post. We have been with Roper Insurance for 10 years or more. The service we received was usually reasonable. Not fantastic by any means. In the last 12 months, we had our policy cancel twice for basic issues that were immediately resolved once we were aware of them. We had to fix the issues ourself. Both times were issues that our broker should have made us aware of and didn’t. We I had tried to reach Roper on numerous occasions and did not get a response. After numerous attempts by us and our payroll company, we finally got a hold of someone in April. They said the agency have been bought and pleaded for forgiveness. Of course they promised it would be different from then on. Did not hear from them again. A few months later, our policy expired and needed to be renewed. Leading up to the renewal and currently a month after, we have never heard from them about renewing the policy. No call. No email. Nothing. We were referred to another insurance agent and it was night and day. He was on the ball and had us a new policy issued within a few days and has things set up in the system correctly so that we will receive notifications in the future and avoid these problems. I understand this is a weird year but one of the basic functions of the broker is it they keep an eye on their customer’s policies and let them know of any issues. If they’re not doing that, what use are they?? They have collected premium on our policy for many years. That much they appear to be good at. Returning phone calls and monitoring status of their clients policies - Not so much..."
"Great service, knowledgeable and caring staff! We recently started offering benefits to our employees at Kat Works. Jody took the time to walk us through the process, explaining every step along the way. She gave us many choices and helped us narrow them down to a good fit for our needs. Jody has been quick to respond to questions and very helpful to ensure everything was set up properly on our end. Out of all the agents we interviewed, Jody was by far the best prepared. She had printed employee booklets and even held an employee meeting going over all the benefits with the group and then taking the time to talk to each employee individually and help them chose wisely. I would definitely recommend Roper Insurance!"
