"So we learned how to Machine Knit yesterday at a cute little one woman owned shop last night in Old Littleton. We were so impressed by Kelsey Riley and the shop she created to pursue her dreams and help the Universe. Turns out she is the only Machine Knitting establishment in Colorado. She has a strong fashion background and stumbled upon machine knitting, mastered it and created a shop where they sell locally handmade goods. Even the yarn is local and responsible and she pointed out with machine knitting there is zero to none waste as you are creating fabric with only what you need. They sell anything from cute jewelry to clothing. Machine knitting is super interesting because you could have that sweater in a day and not wear your fingers and hands out while doing it. Oh, and every stitch is perfect. Checkout Elsewear Collective. It’s a great local gift shop and they try to keep things affordable and Kelsey is adorable. She even has names for her creations:). There’s names on the tags. So cute!"
"Found this shop whilst shopping around in Littleton and adored the items! I loved a specific necklace and asked for the artist info, only to find the artist inside working on items! (I believe it was the owner’s mother, but could be wrong) I asked if she would commission a piece for me, of a specific length since I loved the design of the necklace. She was happy to make what I wanted and the result is gorgeous. So thankful for these lovely ladies who took the time to make something truly unique for me!"
"Wonderful store showcasing a lot of local artist’s work! Kelsey was a great help showing me around. If you ask really nicely, you can get patches sewed on for a small and reasonable fee. I’ll definitely be back in soon to add to my jacket!"
"I would absolutely recommend elsewhere collective. I love that there is a local store that physically creates the clothing that it sells. I love how every piece is unique because it is all made in store. You can pick out what color how you want to design what type of yarn and material you would like to use it is great. I am looking forward to creating a couple of pieces hopefully soon. I love that this particular founder of the store holds crochet classes to learn how to create your own pieces if you are into crocheting. The pieces are very fashionable."
"I am so grateful for Kelsey and the wonderful custom messenger bags she made for me. ( a total of 8 of them.) Each one designed differently, to give as gifts to different family members. She was abundantly patient with me along the way, as I added this, or took away that, to make each of them absolutely perfect. It was so nice to find a shop with totally different, handmade and unique gifts. My family members were speechless, when I gave them their special messengers bag, custom made just for them. I also purchased a set of beautiful hat and mittens from Kelsey. So warm and one of a kind. I will be returning to Kelsey’s shop, as she has her heart in absolutely every piece she produces. Thank you Kelsey. Jill Dvorak"
