"A nice urban park with a playground, set in a historic neighborhood."
"We had a vintage dance in the "Molkery" (milk barn => sanatorium => Montclair Civic Building) for 2 dozen people the other day. There are some pillars in the middle, which meant either careful dodging during a waltz, or playful "pole dancing".... A nice dance floor, lovely historic photos inside. A bit cozy for that many people dancing, but a great experience overall."
"Really enjoyed this landmark. Perfect for the family celebration. Nice porch/veranda surrounded the whole facility. Nice children's playground. Has an upstairs. I don't know what's up there. Good venue to rent."
"We had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the Montclair Civic Center, also known as the Molkery. The building and the grounds are well maintained, the outdoor area very attractive and comfortable. There is a playground for kids, which also looks well maintained and a plus for families with children. A pleasurable experience."
"An amazing place! Used to be an infirmary for people stricken with the traveling consumption, which was what they used to call tuberculosis. Baron Von Richtofen owned this area, and built the infirmary as a token of good will. There used to be a pond, and a herd of milk cows stationed here. The belief, at the time, was that fresh milk was a possible treatment for TB. Cool place!"
