"2 weeks ago me and my gf went to Colorado Mills for xmas shopping. we went to spencers to look for some cute stuff so I picked up something I liked but the employees were giving us weird stares and following us the whole time. we eventually got to the "adult toys" and they were blocking us from viewing them. everything about it was super uncomfortable so we put our stuff down and left. as soon as we walked into the children's clothing store to get gifts for my niece, this larger woman with pink hair chased us out demanding that we took something. she forced only ME (i'm a POC girl, GF is not) )back into the store to prove we didnt take it, and of course the item was still there. she specifically accused me of taking a tshirt and once I showed her where it was, all the employee said was "thanks". No apology or anything. i thought was spencers is notoriously accepting of gays and POC but appearently not."

"The staff here are super friendly and always help me find what I need. Emily and Kendra are the best management team I've seen at a Spencers. Would definitely recommend this store to people looking for a variety of different things."

"Visited the store #02047 on 4/24/21 the staff walking around the store checking on customers was the only polite staff there. As my wife went up to check out the staff on the cashier did not engage in ANY type of conversation, did not ask how our day was, did not ask if we found everything okay, did not even make eye contact with my wife. My wife was patient with the behavior until that staff aggressively handed over our bag of items it seemed like she was rushing to get rid of us. Once that happened my wife asked what her name was and told her that she was being very rude, the staff replied that she was the manager and that she had anxiety because of the long line... my wife was thee only person in line and there was only one person that was ahead of us but they went to the other cashier... I don’t get where the anxiety came from or why that would make her behavior okay. Then she continued to argue back and forth with my wife about her service. Unacceptable!! Regardless if it was a hectic day or not, you don’t treat paying customers that way. We are always shopping at spencers so it was very disappointing that we were treated this way! Get it together please."

"Went in looking for valentines goodies for my man and I and everyone was very sweet and helpful!! Wish I can remember the guys names who went over and beyond with the customer service, think he had a lip piercing or 2?? Anyways they definitely upgraded their staff and really got better with customer communication!"
