"Greg and his team are committed to helping homeowners keep their houses in tip top shape. Plus, they make it crazy easy to request a service call with the QR code on the todo list notepad they gave us. Got a callback same day!"
"TLDR: We received some services we were happy with. After repeated attempts, one task was never completed. Communication was lacking. We bid on and won five hours of Home Maintenance Services through a school auction. We emailed and talked on the phone with Greg about using their services. Greg was personable, and we were happy with our experience so far. We explained what we'd like to have done with the five hours. At the top of our list was replacing batteries in our electric blinds that required a very tall ladder. We had an appointment scheduled and Dan came out to do some of the requested work. Dan mentioned that a colleague of his would be coming soon with a tall ladder (the ~21 foot ladder needed was noted). Unfortunately, by the end of the appointment, the colleague had been unable to come out, so they said they would come back another day to replace the batteries and finish the other tasks. Dan came out again to work on the rest of our tasks, but said he forgot to bring a tall ladder. On a Friday, Greg said he hoped Dan could come out on Tuesday and said he'd follow up. On Tuesday morning, I hadn't heard anything so I followed up with Greg via email that morning. He said Dan had some truck issues and asked if he could come out on Friday instead. Our schedule was a bit tight on Friday, but if he could come in the morning, it would work for us. I asked if that would work. By Thursday, I had not heard back, so I followed up with another email. He asked if he could send another guy named Wyatt instead. We said that was fine and added a reminder to bring a really tall ladder. Wyatt came by on April 7, 2023, but his ladder was not tall enough for the task. Wyatt mentioned that he was deathly afraid of heights and seemed nervous trying to reach the top of the blinds with the ladder that just wasn't tall enough. I asked why Dan didn't come instead. He said that Dan was even more afraid of heights than he was. Wyatt kindly apologized that they weren't able to get the job done this third time that they were out at our house and said they'd bring a taller ladder and get it done. I haven't had any follow up from Greg, Dan, or Wyatt since Wyatt's visit three weeks ago. We were considering getting a contract for their services since they seemed to provide good customer service in the beginning, but changed our minds after having to follow up several times and then not getting the batteries replaced. They did a good job caulking our kitchen sink, fixing the balance springs in the sashes of some of our windows, and replacing fluorescent lights in the garage. They also replaced the smoke detectors and CO detectors in our house, which was great, but didn't really clean up after themselves and there was debris from the ceiling on the carpet/flooring at each location."
