"I absolutely love living here. Staff is wonderful and they r on top of any issue that may arise. Thank u Lowry team"
"Don’t waste your time with this place. The apartments are VERY dated and Melinda is prejudice. We decided we were going to give this place a shot so we could live a little below our means and save. We filled out the application and submitted all the background check information. They then charged my card an apartment holding fee BEFORE I was approved. Fast forward to the very same day I applied I get a call from Melinda stating that my background check came back with all kinds of felonies and misdemeanors and that she could not approve me. Due to the color of my skin and my tattoos she automatically assumed this person was me. I explained to them that there must of been some mistake but that I work in healthcare and have never lived where this person that committed all of these crimes lives. She said it was UP TO ME to clear my name even though I knew the background check place they use had made a mistake. Of course we applied on a Saturday and there was nothing I could do due to it being a long holiday weekend. That following Tuesday I called the sheriffs office and county clerk and recorder of the place the background check was saying all of this happened. Upon checking there was someone with the same full name as me, DOB 1 digit off, and Florida DL 1 digit off from mine. The recorder stated that whoever processed the background check was sloppy and looked at the year of birth but didn’t give the big picture a second thought. With this information I then had to submit a dispute through the company they use to conduct their checks. Upon review it was confirmed they did in fact make a mistake in including the information of another person on my check. Melinda however, had already made her mind up about me. After being cleared she then calls to tell me I had been denied due to some other financial things on my record. Forget the fact that I have amazing rental history and was able to pay your hold fee without an excuse. She told me that the holding fee would be processed and should be in my bank within 2-4 business days. Fast forward and I still don’t have the hefty holding fee they took. Every time we call we are met with excuses that accounting has not cleared or looked at the request for the refund. Don’t waste your time with these incompetent people. Imagine the mess we would have had to deal with for a year if we had signed a lease. We decided to apply somewhere more updated and we may not be saving the amount of money we would here but the place we were approved for (downtown Lodo, 10 year old building) just goes to show you these people are judgmental and incompetent. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE."
"Run- especially if Tammy or Kayla are still in the front office. I couldn't imagine paying $2000+ to live in these places or deal with her constant incompetence. The area around these apartments seems nice- but don't be fooled. These apartments and the ones next door have nonstop issues. You can pay that much to live in a much better area. The parent company Holland is un-contactable as well, so don't expect to get any help there. The rent increases every year, despite nothing ever being updated, no parking and only one way in our out of the complex, broken and dangerous stairs, gunshots outside my window in the parking lot from parties, there are no quiet hours so expect to never sleep, someone in the complex tried to steal my car the first week i got it and there were always vehicle vandalism issues, there's no security at all as the lease and sign out front claims there is, no pest control even though lease says there is and they charge for it, the list goes on and includes all the other more typical issues that apartment places have (bad maintenance, old and non working appliances, front office is always "out to lunch", and of course trying to charge a ridiculous and fraudulent bill upon move out). And you had better not have an issue with any of it, or Tammy will throw a fit and gaslight you and try to make herself a victim. They are easy to get into for a reason!"
"Good place to live! Wonderful ladies in the front office. New maintenance guy is “okay.” Pulled one thing out of my broken drain, walked out and now it’s broken again. Didn’t really fix the problem which brings me to this notice. Only advice I’d give to future tenants is to hold the managers responsible for fixing things and addressing issues like noise complaints. We’ve spent six months with incredibly loud neighbors at all hours of the night and they are still very loud. We gave up on having that addressed. If you don’t stay on them, you’ll slip through the cracks. Another reason this gets three stars right now is because For about a year, they’d sell the hot tub as a positive point for living there, though they never fixed it till enough people made noise they would literally tell prospective tenants it was “getting fixed this week” for months. Finally enough people complained and they were forced to fix it. Our first year here we didn’t have the amenity we were being charged for. That’s the main reason this gets three stars. So just make sure you hold them accountable so you receive what you’re paying your hard earned money for. Also, don’t love the parent company. The management of their parent company is a bunch of rich young dudes who don’t care at all about us as tenants. They’re really creepy and walk around in these nice suits just ignoring all the issues. Other than that, it’s a solid place. Front leasing office is filled with wonderful people!"
"My sister and I have lived here for just over 4 years and have had really great experiences with the current management and maintenance. Anthony in maintenance has been absolutely amazing the entire time that we've been here. He's responsive, respectful, and friendly. Tammy and Kayla in the office are friendly and take the time to get to know their residents. The other residents are generally quiet and respectful, giving that nice head nod in the corridor or parking lot and an occasional chat at the pool. Parking is a bit of a problem, but the office is good with updating signage and striping when needed. The location is also good. Close to the bus stop for the 10 to downtown and walking distance to the 15 is a plus. It's about 5 minutes to Lowry Town Center and 10 minutes to Stapleton which has a lovely farmer's market. Overall, I feel safe at Lowry North with the maintenance, management, and location."
