Courtyard by Marriott Denver Airport at Gateway Park

"This was an absolutely terrible experience. When I arrived the person at the front desk informed me that check in time was at 3PM. I asked to confirm my reservation and her response was that my room wouldn't be available until 3PM. At 3 o'clock and went to check in and upon doing so she said she would be right back. She returned with the manager and they informed me that they had overbooked the hotel and they didn't have a room for me. I asked why I just flew across the country and only now was being told. Her explanation was that they had a glitch in the system. I asked why there was no attempt to inform me since the room was booked almost 3 weeks in advance. I was then told they had found a room for me at the aLoft and they would honor the rate. After getting no explanation as to why I was never notified I asked how I was going to get to the hotel. She said it was about 2 blocks away. I asked for a shuttle and she said they didn't offer a shuttle and I would have to walk. After getting to the aLoft hotel I was told they didn't provide any credit card information. The hotel had been booked by my company. Also I was in town for 3 nights and the Courtyard only told them I need 1 night. The staff at the aLoft were great but the customer service and my experience with the staff at the Courtyard where my original reservation was booked was HORRIBLE. I would advise anyone to stay at another hotel in the area."

"Worst experience ever! I had a prepaid non refundable booking for 20th March made via the Marriott bonvoy app. My booking was for a junior suite so I could work from there the next day. On checkin they told me it was not available because it was oversold and given away. I was offered a king room which I took only to realize the temperature control system was also not working. They did not have any other room and eventually I had to ask them to move me to other Marriott properties. They finally moved me to a residence inn nearby at their expense. Bear in mind all this happened at 1AM in the morning and this is despite having Marriott Gold Status. Worst experience! Moving to an alternate property was done at my behest as I refused to stay in those conditions and was quite annoyed already at my prepaid suite being given away!"

"Waited about 1 hour 40 minutes for the shuttle to show up. Called for shuttle and they never said exactly where to pick up shuttle. Finally figured out where (Thanks to another hotel shuttle) that I had to go to door 505, which is the opposite side of the terminal than 504. Was then told it would be about 10 more minutes 3 times over the next 50 minutes. Was freezing when I arrived and the water pressure was horrible in the shower. Woke up for breakfast and they were out of coffee, but refilled a quickly after. Breakfast was ok. Shuttle only runs once an hour so I had to get to the airport much earlier than I wanted. I would do anything to avoid this hotel in the future"

"Nothing fancy and definitely shows its age, but it does the job. Beds are comfy and room noise is minimal. The gym has the basics - not sure I would recommend it beyond a night or two stay. The airport transfer was very convenient!"

"Decent place to stay if you have a really early flight, clean room and lots of food choices close. I was pretty disappointed as we paid for long term parking and shuttle was listed as 24 hours on website, but earliest pickup was 345am and our flight left at 5am so we had to take a $50 Uber, somewhat defeating our reason/value for staying. Wish they would have posted the accurate shuttle hours, we may have opted for another hotel that could accommodate our early departure."
