"It’s home. It is near everything so time isn’t wasted in traffic. Daniel’s team of Chrissy, Ryan, Justin and Mark each deserve a 5 star rating making the team a 25 Star rated. They are all knowledgeable and conscientious."
"I stayed here when I first moved to Denver and had a great experience. I needed a temporary stay before finding a permanent home and Susie Miller (the manager) allowed me to sign a month lease, then extend when I needed more time during my search. The building is convenient to downtown and public transit. Susie is very knowledgeable about all things Denver and can give you great recommendations about places to see and things to do and her dog, Cambridge, is very friendly! I would recommend staying at the Cambridge."
"This place is awesome the Cambridge is one of the nicest places I have ever lived and I must say Susie Miller is a great host she's very professional and helped me out several times and I want to say thank you if you were thinking about coming to live here you are going to experience a great lifestyle I love the Cambridge"
"This place is an absolute HELLHOLE. First of all, after I complained about the busybody elderly woman who wears thigh high shorts and likes to invite me into her apartment, who would literally listen outside my door to conversations inside (this was shown to me in reports she had written up), the "owner" responded to me that they could come into my apartment without notice for any reason just to "observe," and they did not have to tell me when or how often they entered. I left the sink in my apartment on ONCE in a year and a half and it overflowed onto the floor and required a towel to cleanup, the manager came barging in taking pictures. It was also evident that someone was in my apartment while I was out on numerous occasions as there was items moved around and drawers searched through. Remember, the owner said in writing "they could come in, just to observe." Another neighbor, an attorney, who lived in a furnished unit (mine was unfurnished) was charged $90 for two drinking glasses that she had either broke or were missing. I actually liked the location because of it's proximity to downtown, however when I signed a second lease, the owner encouraged me to sign for two years this next time instead of one. I reluctantly did and after requesting the floor that was coming up in the kitchen and the falling ceiling in the bathroom be repaired, he raised my rent $125/mo to pay for the repairs. In addition to listening to my conversations, being a single man, I would occasionally have an overnight guest, I later learned that not only were these individuals tracked but the manager would take note of the times and frequencies they arrived and left. If you need to be treated like a child and annoyed by a pesky den mother, this place is perfect. Did I mention there was no dishwasher? Oh there is a community one downstairs.....it's free. Right next to the washer that cost $5.00 to start. I then told the owner I wanted out of my lease after yet ANOTHER invasion of my privacy and I was told I could leave without cost, he then sued me indicating that I didn't have the right to change my lease without both of our signatures and won because an e-mail wouldn't suffice. GOOD LUCK! FYI, the individual, who in my opinion has questionable judgement, her dog's name is Cambridge and her apartment sits right above the front door for easy viewing."
"TERRIBLE. These are the problems I experienced with the Cambridge: 1. Unwillingness to reasonably refund the $1000 security deposit. After leaving the Cambridge, I was informed that I had taken a bath towel, washcloth, and clock radio. All I could find was the washcloth, but stated that I would happily buy them a new clock radio and reimburse them for the value of the washcloth and towel. The property manager initially assessed a $215 penalty for these three items. After I expressed displeasure at such an extreme fee, to "show grace" (his words) he agreed to reduce the charge to $160. Rather than fight this ridiculous charge, I just accepted the fee. The next day I notice the towel and washcloth on sale at Macy's for a total of $12. The clock radio was probably also about a $12 item. 2. UNSAFE! The building is located a half block north of a stretch of Colfax Avenue that is populated with hookers and drug dealers. Homeless people often hang out by the back door of the building, which is situated in an alley that is not easily viewable to the public. I was sometimes nervous for my safety going in that door at night. 3. NO PARKING! All the parking in the area is metered, so you will have to rent a monthly spot at one of the lots in the area. That added another $150/month to my rent. 4. SLOW INTERNET. Like really slow. I tried to Skype with friends, but gave up. And the server randomly kicks you off and makes you re-enter your password, which makes it unreliable for doing business at home. 5. DINGY AND POORLY EQUIPPED. The common areas are dingy and poorly maintained, particularly laundry room. Only 2 driers, one of which ate all my quarters but only worked for 5 minutes. And despite the fact that I rented the hyped "executive studio" that was equipped with a supposedly remodeled kitchen, that kitchen failed to have a single drinking glass. And the bathroom didn't have a single hook or rod to hang a towel."
