"Honestly I'd imagine most of the other positive recent reviews are either fake or coerced in some way. I didn't think it was possible for Miramar to become more of a dump than it already was under the old management (when it was prev. called Caden Apts.), but boy was I wrong. They ignore your workorders more often than not, the office staff is quite rude (the leasing agent that has been there through multiple managers I would personally consider unhireable given how inept her customer service has been towards me), the community is filled to the brim with crime, junk, excessive or unsafe activity, dogs off leashes, etc. Miramar's management team left a gaping hole in my apartment (broken patio door window) for over a calendar year, which meant I had to live with the hole through an entire Colorado Winter, making my apt. frigid cold and a safety hazard, not that Miramar Apartments cared even slightly. Couldn't even get an apology from them. Asked them several times to fix it and one of the previous managers even told me she was working on it, and then canceled the workorder mid-winter without telling me. I can't stress enough how rude, unhelpful, and overall annoyingly dense the leasing agent was, especially regarding that issue. They also can't manage to either protect the mailboxes of the community, nor can they be bothered to even write a note/community email and let everyone know what is going on, so the mailboxes keep getting broken into without any stated plan/communication to the tenants. They also struggle immensely with clearing ice/snow in the winter (i.e., they oftentimes just don't clear the snow/ice at all), which is a major walking/health hazard. If you have difficulty walking or health issues, this community will be very hard to safely navigate after snow/sleet/etc. The mgmt. team has added several "misc. charges" to tenants' ledgers since taking over, to the point where I'm now being charged for misc. package fees, if I want what-used-to-be free parking, etc. Smart businesspeople are able to innovate in better ways and provide better value than mere "sneaking fees and charges" onto tenants. More cost added, for no additional value. The best part is that it seems like much of the community did not buy the new parking passes, so now street parking is just absolutely packed most Friday/Saturday evenings, when the lot itself was previously free and is now oftentimes wide open. Real efficient. They leave junk just sitting everywhere. There's been an "Abandoned Crackhead Shopping Cart" sitting right in front of the community (technically on Miramar property) between the parking lot and Arkansas Ave) for upwards of a few months now. My vehicle was broken into 2 separate times, and successfully stolen completely a 3rd time in Miramar's lot. I have seen multiple other tenants speaking to police, etc. regarding vehicles stolen on property as well. There's isn't much real "Security" per se, and the community isn't really doing much to make the area safer/reduce theft. There's kind of a "Race to the Bottom" or "Tragedy of the Commons" currently in this area. And good luck sleeping during regular hours here with all the parties, loud music, 3am horn honking because the other tenants can't be bothered to send a text message and are too lazy to knock, parking lot Modelo/Corona Beer parties with smashed broken glass/bottles on the regular, etc. If you magically transported a typical 1950's American to 2024 Cherry Creek/Miramar, they would likely ask who we lost a war to, or otherwise wonder what went so wrong. My mother is absolutely horrified by what this neighborhood/community has turned into in the past ~2 years or so. Living here feels like living in a 3rd world country. If you want to witness America's active Competency Crisis first-hand, I suggest you tour Miramar Apartments and meet their leasing staff. If you want to preserve your healthy, functional sense of shame, and not lose all faith in our modern workforce/the general direction of our society, then I'd suggest going elsewhere."
"I went with my sister yesterday to look at some apartments. Miramar Apartments was my absolute favorite. The whole property was so well kept and Viven was so welcoming and helpful. Thanks for making the process so easy. I’m sure she will be calling Miramar her new home."
"This review is specifically for Jose in maintenance. I came home last night and my heat wasn't working (and it was like 13 degrees outside!) so not a good scenario. I called the after hours number and he came quickly to take a look at my heat situation. He was quick, friendly and knowledgeable. He even brought a small space heater for me to use. Next day they installed a new wall unit that heats/cools. I'm thankful we could reach a quick resolution."
"I’ve been living here before Miramar took over and I’m so glad they did. The property is cleaner. The officer is actual help. The people are actually friendly. I literally love living here on purpose. And they holidays party they threw recently, magnificent. So many people came and and there was food and gifts and raffles and food lol. Thanks so much Miramar for making this property great and being great to me"
"I write this review from my heart and I love living here! Our property currently is the BEST it has looked since we originally moved in (pre-Covid). We have lived here for almost 4 years. I would highly recommend living here. Our complex is very child and pet friendly. We have more grass than any other apartment complexes. Honestly, it is beautiful and comfortable here. The previous owners' really did not care and let the property become unkempt and not maintained, at all! We were going to move, but we decided to stay and give the new team a chance to turn things around. And they have:) We had faith in the new management improving the property. I am thrilled that we did not move! The new owners' current staff is AMAZING! Miramar have a team, now, that is exemplary! Management has fixed so many problems and they continue to. There is Vanessa, our Leasing Agent ( I think). She is highly intelligent, friendly, helpful, effective and organized, always. If there are any issues, you should go straight to Vanessa, as she gets right on it. She has been the glue holding the staff together. Bravo Vanessa! We have a new manager, Maria. She is the FIRST manager we have had that is a person of her word. Maria is making our property a place we can be proud of and be happy to come home to. Maria is smart, effective, compassionate and firm. Maria makes things happen. Maria has our confidence and admiration. We absolutely love her! She is unquestionably the best Manager we have ever had here. As for maintenance, we have Joe and Evan. They work so incredibly hard! They are fixing 2 years worth of problems that the previous owners' ignored and dumped on the new owners'. Their determination to continue on is impressive. It must be so difficult to walk into so many issues and just keep fixing them 1 at a time. Joe and Evan did not create these problems, but their fortitude and emotional strength and professionalism in fixing them is IMPRESSIVE! There is, also, a new groundskeeper. I do not know his name, but he is doing a fantastic job of keeping the property litter free and clean. We love it here and I hope you will too:)"
