"I have lived in Tamai Tower for nearly 8 years. At least one elevator has been out of service for over a year. Sometimes, both elevators are down. I routinely walk up and down 18 flights of stairs. Yesterday, I cleaned up excrement off the floor of the "penthouse" laundry room floor so that nobody would slip and hurt themselves. This means somebody or something left a pile of "poop" on the floor. As a tenant, it is not my job to clean this up, but somebody needed to do it so our older residents did not fall and hurt themselves. I emailed the building manager, Brandon Merson. Instead of being awarded with some form of medal or a simple "thank you", my email was ignored. This failure is analogous of what it's like to live here. The bitter irony is that I was in the laundry room desperately trying to use a laundry machine (that I pay extra for) that would not work. To make matters worse, I have been waiting over 6 weeks for my maintenance request to be able to cook in the apartment I pay to live in. The oven hood will not work, and it does not take over a month to fix it. Overall, renewing my lease has been a nightmare, and everyone deserves to know that Cornerstone - especially this building - should be avoided like the plague. I cannot stress this enough - do NOT move here. Even if you sign a lease, you won't be able to use the elevator to move your things in, and the people I live with won't fix problems for you. They will only create them, and Cornerstone will do nothing to help you. DON'T SIGN A LEASE HERE"
