"This place doesn't have a lot going for it. The inside of the apartments look nice but are very poorly built. Everything is flimsy and uneven. I had a 6ft hallway that was 6inches more narrow on one end than the other. The dishwasher never worked, even after multiple repair requests. The staff are wildly unprofessional. I was in the front office while one of the women was talking about how she wanted to sleep with a tenant because he had a cool truck. Another one routinely gave her number to tenants. Wives, be careful if you move here. The maintenance crews are basically useless, the place smells like dog poop, the ice on the sidewalks have caused many to fall, vehicles get broken into constantly... the list goes on. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else."
"We have been moved out for about two months now. Even when living there it wasn’t great, our apartment was always so hot and our electric bill was always high. The pool was never clean and sidewalks leading up to the apartment building weren’t shoveled when it snowed, my husband and I both slipped on the ice while carrying our baby to the car. My car got towed even with the parking pass being on my dashboard (it wasn’t stuck to the window though so they towed me) We just got our security deposit back (two days before the deadline) and they charged us for two rooms worth of carpet cleaning when there was not a single square inch of carpet in our apartment. We have charges on our security deposit that are dated 5/1 and 6/1 (we moved out 4/21) even though we left with everything paid. The ladies in the office are kind but they weren’t very helpful when I had questions about the security deposit. I wouldn’t count on getting anywhere near the amount of money back that you put down."
"My fiancé and I went and talked to them yesterday before closing and was told if we had the app and deposit in by today which as we are on the way down we were called saying don’t bother because someone took it out from under you. So the lack of communication the lack of human compassion shown I will never live here I strongly advise you not to cause it obvious they could care less about people and more about the dollar. The laddies in the office were helpful when we were in there but I guess asking for 24 hours to fill out the paperwork and get the money set aside is to much to ask for. What a joke of a community."
"Parking is always a nightmare. More often than not I had to park down a building or two because all spots were full, even by 7 or 8 pm. They are overly strict on cars without a parking pass as well. My wife's friend was staying the night, and it was over the weekend so no management was in for a parking pass or anything, and her car randomly got towed around 2am and we had to pay over $400 to get it back. As for in the apartment, water pressure isn't great. The layout ends up with much wasted space in the master due to an unnecessary hallway that could have been a walk-in closet or something. The bathrooms would grow mold or mildew in the drains and the faucets even if you frequently ran the water, so we could never take a bath. Next, I lived here for 3 years and our rent for the 2 bed 2 bath was about to go up to $1800 a month! I started at this place at under $1300 and they haven't even updated anything to justify a $500 a month increase. I'm glad we could find something nicer in Loveland that is bigger and cheaper, but I can't help but feel sorry for the next tenants to be roped into the overpriced rent. Long story short, I would look elsewhere for an apartment with a better value and a better parking situation."
"So far, so great! We worked initially with Rita and now with the new property manager who I like a lot! Bree has been great as well, although there were a few hiccups and miscommunications on her first day/the day Rita retired, all has been smooth sailing from then. The apartment homes are spacious and beautiful. We came from Broomfield where the rent was $600+ more a month and we like the complex and homes here much more. Parking has already proven to be an issue for building F but I am able to find parking a few buildings down. I will update this review as we continue our time here at Firestone Meadows."
