Reviews
"I’ve lived at Jayne since July 2023. This review is to provide some context around the recent 1 star reviews and change in ownership. To preface, - I don’t use the pool, hot tub or gym. - I don't use the pre-installed Quantum internet since I use Xfinity. - I haven’t submitted a maintenance request since the ownership change. So I can’t comment on any of the above. Yes, they could have 100% communicated the transition better. If I was away for Christmas then I would not have received the paper notice and would not have had time to switch my payment to the new portal. This was not a good way to start off, an email should have been sent instead of physical paper. But in regards to everything else, nothing has really changed. The elevators have always broken down occasionally with previous ownership. There were always dog owners that did not clean up after their pets, and that is in every apartment complex in the world. The units are still very nice. The price is good. The location is good. The parking garage is fine. Concerning the transients, if you live in a 1st floor unit in Denver you will deal with transients in every neighborhood except Cherry Creek and Park Hill. The manager, Leslie, has been very understanding and empathetic to the transition. Every time I’ve had a question she’s had an answer. I will definitely renew my lease as long as the price doesn’t skyrocket."
"Went from my favorite apartments I’ve lived in, to the absolute worst, because of this new “Green Leaf Jayne” management that is clearly incompetent of managing a property. Between not even having my lease or renters insurance on file, letting a nonresident into the elevator with me, lacking cleanliness, machines in resident gym that constantly breakdown, overcharging me, letting other transients in the building, and having no concern about residents safety, happiness, or satisfaction regarding the place they LIVE, I am not renewing and would not recommend this building to anyone."
"I have a friend living here and this place is so poorly managed since Green Leaf took over the building. They sent out conflicting letters to the residence right before the holidays and then immediately back tracked. They didn't even have access to the leases yet were collecting rent and some people were set for automatic payments and non of that was stopped or transferred from the previous management. The gaslight you about maintenance requests and it takes forever for any results (not the maintenance people's fault their portal system is just terrible). Lobby manager is defensive and they have the residence pay 125$ a month for parking yet the employees and maintenance take up spots... for the price of this building and although the amenities are vast I would say it's not worth it."
"Update: I still like my apartment, but I've noticed that the community is not as clean as it used to be. It's been really disappointing to see damage and stains accumulate on carpets, walls, stairwells, package room, and other common areas. It doesn't look like anyone vacuum's or cleans the hallway carpets or stairwells anymore. I did notice that someone has repaired damage to various walls and corners, which is nice. The gym also looks like it's not cleaned often as I've noticed lots of dust build up and the equipment looks like it's only occasionally wiped down by residents. I haven't interacted with the new staff yet, they seem nice in the few emails I've received. I just really wish the upkeep and cleanliness around the community was a lot better. Previous review: First off, I love my new apartment. I hate having to go to work, I'd stay here all day. It feels like a brand new place should and the amenities have been great. Second, the staff has been top-notch. Super attentive and accommodating, while also not sacrificing standards and community rules. I'll say the only negative has been a few tenants that haven't kept the trash rooms clean and I've noticed some damage to some common areas from move-ins. That's not the apartment or staff's fault, just careless folks moving-in. It happens. Otherwise, most tenants have been really nice and there definitely is a good vibe here."
