"The Apartments at Denver Place is a hidden gem of Denver! One bedrooms for under $1700 a month "out the door" with million dollar views! The living room, bedroom and walk in closet are all fairly gigantic! The staff is friendly, and we do have a doorman from 1800-0400. Unfortunately, any big city has its share of vagabonds or rift raft, and so it is a very safe feeling in our building with nightly 'front desk style' security 7 days a week. I mean, we live in the same building [and above] the Ritz Carlton, so we definitely are not in a "rough neighborhood," but rather a hidden treasure inside the city! Denver Union Station is 5 blocks away, it's a 4 block walk to the Rockies Stadium 3 blocks to "Whiskey Row," 2 blocks walk to the famous "16th Street Denver Mall," 5 blocks walk to Auraria Campus for MSU, CCD, and University of Colorado Denver students. Literally everything is just walking distance, no car necessary. Do we have lots of amenities? Not a ton, but I am one of those types that I don't really need a pool or a hot tub that I barely use, just so that my rent can be an extra $800 per month. We have a nice laundry room on the 20th floor, and the building is extremely clean and super stylish (like New York City fancy). We also receive a complimentary gym pass to Club Form Denver across the street from our building, since we do not have a gym onsite. This alone is very nice of them and so to say we have no amenities would be a fib! I think if you are looking for a beautiful apartment, at the lowest price point that you will find in Denver for an apartment potentially on the 35th floor (like mine), then look no further! Lastly, parking is not cheap, but that's just city living, it is what it is, and there are cheaper garages a few blocks away if you don't want to pay for a parking spot that competes with the Ritz. Also, the elevators have been operational the entire time I have been living here, but there was a day where one went down, and the management had the elevator team here literally within hours to get the elevator back up and running. For this day only, the elevator wait time was considerably longer, understandably. But, for any other day, the elevator wait time is no more than a minute or 2 realistically, and sometimes less than 30 seconds wait! Bottom line, one can not go wrong contacting any of the helpful staff members with questions or inquiries about The Apartments at Denver Place. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I wish I would have knew about them sooner!"
"I’ve lived here for two years now. There’s really nothing impressive about this place at all and, frankly, it has gone downhill since I moved here. It seems very poorly managed. They even solicit good reviews for discounts on your utilities that are included on top of your rent. Seems desperate and a little scummy. There tends to be noticeable turnover in the front office. And a lot of people are moving out right now. 1. There are package thieves on the 34th floor. I had an expensive piece of luggage delivered to my door and it was stolen. I asked if the office could help or do anything and unless I had an exact time the package was stolen, the manager wouldn’t bother to lift a finger. If I had the exact time, I probably would have caught them myself. I sent her back a time range and no response at all. There are no cameras in common areas. Don’t expect to get your packages delivered directly. There’s a third party service you have to deliver to and then schedule a delivery. That’s not all that bad, because you’ll usually save a few dollars on taxes for whatever you ordered. And people on the 34th floor won’t be able to steal your packages. 2. The people who live here don’t take pride in where they live. The laundry room on the 20th floor is always a disaster. People let their dogs pee and poop right in front of the main entrance into the apartment community. I stepped in a large dog bomb on my way out one night. Not thrilled. Two days later, management didn’t even have it cleaned up. So, dog poop was just chillin right out front for days. People leave their trash, dripping blood, bodily fluids, dog fluids, etc. in the common areas and elevators. Yes, there was blood all over the elevator one day. Gross. 3. Speaking of elevators… I’m pretty certain at least one elevator has been down/broken for about 40% of the time I’ve lived here. There are only two elevators and it gets to be very time consuming waiting for elevators. Sometimes they are so packed, you have to wait your turn till it comes back again. Plan on extra time just for elevators when they are out. Your time will be wasted. And when they are both out, you have to call the office and ask for a ride in the freight elevators. Don’t expect anything in 4. There are no amenities. The only thing I actually enjoy out of this place is the view and the membership at club form. Other than that, there’s nothing. And rent is only slightly cheaper than places that actually have amenities. Oh, there’s a coffee machine. Most of the time I’ve tried to use it, it only dispenses slightly brown colored water. Cheap cups and no lids. The coffee area is usually a mess too. 5. Parking seems to be annoying. I’ve never used it because I work from home and if you buy the cheap parking, you have to move your car 8-5 Monday through Friday. There’s cheaper parking nearby than they’re overpriced full price parking. 6. The laundry room is a disaster. People leave their belongings in machines for more than a day. How do you forget your laundry in a community laundry room? Sometimes you have to take other peoples laundry out of a machine just so you can use one. They just replaced the machines in June of 23 and they still suck. I have issues every time I’ve done laundry since they have been updated. Then you have to waste 20m of your time to wait for support. I requested a refund and they didn’t even respond. They almost doubled the price of washing machines, raised the price of dryers and give you less time. 7. The manager can be very rude and unprofessional. Some of the emails I have received from her, that go out to the entire building, have been more than extremely unprofessional and immature. Don’t expect much help for anything from the front office. Overall, I’d say this is the trailer park of high rises. In the grand scheme of things, I wish I would have paid a little extra rather than renting at this place. For a little extra you’re guaranteed more amenities. And most likely, elevators that work."
"I've really enjoyed living here so far! Vincent is great and made me feel welcome from day one. Everyone in the office is great, super friendly, and very responsive! Building/units are in good condition, my kitchen and bathroom seem to have been updated somewhat recently. and the location is perfect - not to mention the views! Only downside for me is parking, (I was put on a waitlist) but otherwise absolutely no complaints, highly recommend :)"
"If I could give 10 stars I would! I just moved from Florida and this is an amazing location for me for my first year in Colorado! Beautiful views of the mountains, the clock, the stadium, the whole city! Big spacious bed rooms and living room, and high ceilings! I can walk to my job within 10 minutes and to the 16th street mall, and any grocery store, etc. Parking is separate and third party, but if you get the garage at 1875 Lawrence it’s right across the street, secured, and covered, no snow on your car, your car doesn’t get hot in the sun, and no theft! The apartments just got under new management and they are KILLING IT! They are so friendly and extremely helpful and have been really responsive and on point. They have been checking up on us to make sure everything has been perfect for us! I felt very welcomed and relieved for the staff to be this way, because I’ve lived in apartments where they genuinely don’t care about you or anything you say. We had to have one thing fixed in our place and the maintenance came within an hour of putting in the request! I was very impressed! Not to mention the complimentary coffee maker we have in the lobby! Cappuccinos, hot chocolate, lattes, you name it! It’s all in the lobby, along with a cute lounge area with TVs, and wifi! We also get a gym membership with our lease! They also do monthly get togethers, like they just had a breakfast party, and soon we’re doing an ice-cream party! Really involved in the community. We also have a bulletin board on our resident app where we can give away or sell things or just to start conversation about something, again with the community. I love it. The apartments are very quiet as well. Shoutout to Vincent for being so amazing!"
"First and foremost I am from Denver, Colorado and my biggest dream has been to live in a high rise building in Downtown Denver. The Apartments at Denver Place has been such a dream and I have been living here for almost a year! Mati, Melanie and Melissa are so diligent and caring! They are honest and hard working! Because of them I believe the past problems like the hot water has been solved permanently! I know I will be here for a while! The FREE breakfast and happy hour are the best thing besides the FREE gym membership and the views! Also my apartment is in amazing condition and I hardly have to put in any service request but if I had to get anything fixed Christian is on top of it and also working hard to make sure our community is at it's best! Thank you so much for being the best apartment downtown! AND ITS AFFORDABLE!"
