"UPDATE 9/30/23: The AMLI team worked with us to remedy our issues and break our lease. The homeless encampments around the facing block have been cleared by the city, as new development broke ground 2 days ago. However, some have now moved under the broadway/Brighton bridge and further down the street of Denargo St, both of which are main areas to walk out of the neighborhood into Rino/downtown. Previous 1-Star Review: DO NOT LIVE HERE. Terrible experience. Breaking our lease after 1 month of living here. Staff placates when confronted with issues and have been rude and acts like it’s not their problem it’s “policy” when I had specifically asked about a secondary parking spot and local homeless/safety. Don’t expect to walk around the block without looking for needles and human feces on the ground. See the attached images for how many homeless encampments are on the next block. There are addicts and homeless wandering the street outside at all times. Had confrontations with them asking to enter the building. Watched a homeless person enter our elevator off our own floor. I was even told by the staff “don’t walk left out of the building” because of how bad/aggressive the homeless can be. Sirens and police/ambulances heard every night and attending to issues from the homeless and the nearby shelter. The staff tries to reassure that the land nearby will be developed soon but no exact dates to reference. AMLI needs to step up and realize for the high cost of rent here this is unacceptable service and that we were lied to during our virtual tour."
