"✨ “LUXURY” ✨ Ah, welcome to the pinnacle of luxury living, folks! I'm talking about a place where the broken appliances are just part of the 'charm,' and you can play a thrilling game of 'dodge the dog poop' every time you step outside. But wait, there's more! The management, oh boy, it’s like the cherry on top of this dirt and rocks sundae. I mean, seriously, it's like Greystar has taken a crash course in Customer Disservice 101. You think you're signing up for a luxury apartment, but what you actually get is a VIP pass to the Death Star… after Luke destroyed it. Here's a golden nugget of wisdom for ya: trusting these guys with a ten-foot pole is like asking a goldfish to do your taxes—completely pointless! And remember, folks, always get it in writing! I'm talking contracts thicker than a Harry Potter novel. Oh, and let's not forget about your rights! Did you know that according to Colorado state law, if your place is falling apart faster than a Jenga tower in a hurricane, you can withhold that rent faster than you can say "cha-ching"! Obviously contact your attorney first. So, next time you're dealing with these comedians at Greystar & Alvista Trailside, just keep your sense of humor handy, your paperwork even handier, and maybe invest in a magic wand. Because you're gonna need all the tricks up your sleeve to survive this circus!"
"I’ve been apartment hunting for couple weeks now and had the worst experience for yhis one. I called to check on the availability and the leasing agent looked least interested in walking me around. Since I’m moving from a different state, I asked for a virtual tour but she said they don’t do any, all they wanted me is to rely on the photos on their website. Their floor plan is merely a rough drawing and she said you need to apply to view more. Looks like Alvista Trailside doesn’t need new tenants! I’m glad now I can 100% trust other poor reviews after experiencing it myself."
"It's just a terrible, terrible place. The parking lot is in severe need of repaving and regrading, my friends apartment has leaked water from the ceiling for months and management has totally ignored the problem, while still charging the full rent amount Avoid, you can certainly do better elsewhere. EDIT: Reading the wholly tone-deaf and canned response from the owner below should tell you all you need to know, combined with the nearly identical reviews complaining about leaks and potholes. VERY concerned with reviews, not at all concerned with actually fixing problems or addressing concerns."
"I have lived here a long time for the location. There are nice trails nearby. The unit has a nice layout. However, the value is in the gutter when it comes to actual management of the property. I have been living with a squirrel infestation in my ceilings for almost 6 weeks, and Alvista has hardly lifted a finger to remedy the issue. After weeks of waiting, Alvista is supposedly awaiting 1 estimate. It's not very encouraging to know my property manager is shopping for the most affordable solution, while I'm living with vermin. They have failed to make a single attempt in contacting me during this infestation. It's become a part-time job just to make contact with them. You may note Alvista replied to this review, but if you call that phone number, it is rarely answered and when answered they will not do anything for me. I am appalled at the absence of urgency and communication, considering my home is being occupied by animals and my quality of life have been considerably compromised for weeks now. I'm still being charged full-price for rent, yet I can hardly bare being in my own home anymore. Help! Get me out of this place! The worst part of Alvista is the trash valet program. It is a mandatory $25/month ($300/year) to enroll in the trash valet. This is a wretched service that makes all the tenants leave their trash outside their front door (hallways are not enclosed). This creates a delightful environment of your ALL your neighbors stinky trash rotting right outside your front door, 24-7. Because the trash is just cooking outside, it's a very welcome invitation for squirrels, birds, and many many insects to live off of. When the valet actually comes to take all the trash for the day (they take it about 40 feet to the dumpsters, haha), tenants get all the wonderful, sticky, trash fluids throughout your halls and stairways! Personally, I would pay $25/month to NOT have this happen."
"I am a resident here currentaly and there are many potholes on the road, the parking spots are very tiny, the apartments arebt properly fixed before the next resident moves in and the water heaters are old. The buildings have wood rot all over them and maintenance had done nothing to fix my problems nor have they communicated with me after inspecting my previously damaged unit. I am highly disappointed with this place. They charge too much for how terrible the units are keept."
