"My mother been living there for 2 years already no heat still. Bathroom hasn't been finished since her apartment got flooded wall is falling apart also right with her bathroom sink this place has poor communication we been fighting to get her heat, and everything fixed for already a year and no Response after all the slips we put in for her so ima put a 2 star for my mother living in the community."

"I've been volunteering here since it was primarily a senior assisted living building many years ago and continue to do so. I moved in 16 years ago under the original owner. Columbine Towers is whatever you make of it within your own apartment. Many residents are lovely, honest, helpful, fun and friendly folks. I love the happy, friendly pups and kitties here and am happy that I have mine. The changes in the on-site management last month is most welcome. Our maintenance team is hardworking and do their best. The elevators are now working reliably which is a true blessing around here as so many folks here are handicapable. The laundry rooms need a more caring company to service and maintain the machines, nuff said, and ever hopeful that this too shall improve. Many of the photos posted here are from the good ol'days here. However, I and others have seen an improvement already for a return of more social gatherings and events now and in the future! Thanks Bunches! Yes, this older building has problems, plumbing issues at times, the safety issues are being addressed, interior painting has begun this week, staff and volunteering residents are doing their best to keep the common areas and grounds clean. The spraying for bugs is safer for people and pets now just not as immediately effective and some residents are unable to do all the extra things necessary to completely eliminate them without assistance inside their apartments so one must be patient and diligent. ( I bug proofed my apartment and deep cleaned before moving anything into it, so the main issues I've had are plumbing, like 6 flood damaging incidents -none of my making- and break-ins periodically and a couple FORMER managers who no longer are employed here.) We have wonderful, hardworking volunteers who help us all out with a twice weekly food bank in the large community room for which we are grateful. I personally have some plumbing and carpet issues (due to the flooding) that I will try to resolve eventually. I love the views from my windows! And the impromptu outdoor, sometimes indoors, gatherings of nice folks are a boon as well. Enjoy each marvelous day now. Keep a positive attitude. BearOOO for all y'all"

"My brother just moved in and the manager Carmen was so amazing she explained everything answered the many questions I had she is really friendly and efficient and is caring and patient she always has a smile. my brothers place is nice he’s so happy and she was on everything we asked for their is also security here so I know he will be safe they are really nice the Maitenance was quick on fixing things that didn’t work I introduced myself to the security so they would know who I am they’re friendly and very alert to everyone coming and going I think this will be a place for him to call home A BIG THANK YOU CARMEN FOR BEING THE BEAUTIFUL PERSON YOU ARE ♥️♥️"

"When I walked in the office I feel so welcomed by Desiree and manager Carmen. Desiree she is so nice to me and helps me finish all my application paper work which would take me three days if without her help. Finally, Carmen the manager walking me though my new studio and all facilities around the building with enthusiasm. Everyone works here are super nice . I love this place and will enjoy it !"

"Smell cigarettes / cook through vents and bed bugs / cockroach keep come back. It's so hard to get rid of. A lot of responsibility to keep cleaning and they do inspection too often. Management asked me plus all floor do Re certification (renewal lease) few times like 5 times in one year which is suppose once a year. Rent keep go up every about 3 months. It's not fair. I wouldn't recommend you move in there. I tolerated through it. I finally to get move out last may. . I felt so good to get out. It was too much work . never rest at home. But other wise. Good community there tho. Sorry I had to report this with my experince. Good luck for search your new home."
