"Recently taken over by new management, very nice and responsive so far. they do have 24 hour maintenance and security patrol which I love being it’s so close to Colfax .I absolutely love my new apartment. The renovations and the island in the granite was unexpected and lovely. Very pleased with my apartment and grounds were very clean."
"I have been a resident here for two years, and my decision to stay stems solely from my ongoing health issues. However, I feel compelled to share my experiences for the benefit of others considering this place as their future home. Moving to this apartment complex, one can anticipate a range of issues that significantly impact the overall living conditions. These include persistent problems such as bedbugs and cockroaches, inconsistent access to hot water, or sometimes no water at all. Additionally, the presence of homeless individuals surrounding the premises raises concerns, as some manage to enter the buildings and use the hallways as makeshift bathrooms. One of the most frustrating aspects is the lack of control over the heating system. Residents often find themselves caught between extremes, either boiling or freezing, with no effective means to regulate the temperature to their comfort. Moreover, maintenance requests are met with painfully slow responses, creating additional challenges for those seeking timely resolutions to issues within their living spaces. Adding to the inconvenience, the leasing office is frequently closed, making it difficult for residents to address concerns or seek assistance. Despite my attempts to communicate with the management, I've faced consistent challenges. Over the past six months, my calls have gone unanswered, further highlighting the lack of responsiveness and concern for residents' well-being. As a Colorado native, I can confidently say that this is the most unsatisfactory apartment I have ever lived in. I hope this review serves as a cautionary note for potential residents, encouraging them to thoroughly consider their options before choosing this apartment complex as their home."
"This place is a nightmare! I moved here to be closer to work and the apt looked great when I moved in. Only to find out the building is infested with roaches ..and now bed bugs. They leave a notice on your door less than 24 hrs before they are going to spray,if they even show up. I have had 5 notices left on my door, emptied my entire kitchen and bedroom. The pest control has been to my unit one time! The first time, after living without a kitchen for nearly 3 months, after I finally put my kitchen back together, threw out the entire contents of my pantry and replaced everything,I now find there are bed bugs in the bldg. Again a notice less then 24 hrs to have the entire contents of my bedroom sealed in bags and cleaned out. Only to find out the company they claim to be using is a no call no show. I've had to board my dog every single time at $100 a day. You think they would have the decency to take a little off the rent. None,no compensation for living out of boxes and bagged up clothes until they decide to find a company that actually shows up to do pest control. Your better off staying in one of the many seedy hotels in the area off Colfax. This place is trash. Save yourself from being duped into a year lease of headaches and disgusting inhabitable living situations. Just read any other review on here. It pains me to even give these people money for rent. Find ANY other place to live!!!"
"Honestly counting down the days until my lease is up. Moved here from Illinois for work and was in a pinch to find a place and I’m glad I’ve only got 3 more months here. Buildings are old and dirty, and literally no ventilation so it’s always hot and the lovely residents who constantly smoke in their units stink up the entire building and nothing is ever done about it. I feel like I should be reimbursed for candles and glade plug ins at this point. Homeless people leaving trash everywhere and always trying to get into the building. Laundry is always broken and will just take your money. I could sit here for an hour and write about this place. Do your research before signing here it is insane the money this place can get for a one bedroom. Only reason it gets two stars is for Isaac the maintenance guy who gets worked to the bone and Erika in the front office is nice."
"I've never once left a Google review, but after living in these decrepit tenements for 5 years I feel the need to. Over 5 years I lived in buildings D, G, and K. D was built in the 60s and had the stratified layers of paint to prove it. G, built in the 80s, was overpriced on the best of days and literally crumbling around us on the worst. K, also built in the 80s, has what I like to call "virtual amenities," because they may have an in unit dishwasher and in building laundry, but not really. This in unit dishwasher has never once washed a dish despite my requests to have it repaired/replaced. The laundry has to be paid through an app, which would be great if it worked half the time, but then the other half of the time it wouldn't matter because someone decided to cut the cables on the washers and dryers. After this last year of being skinned each month in additional utility fees and a community fee that apparently just goes to making the apartments look artsy enough to pass as livable, I feel personally insulted. I know I shouldn't, but after 5 years and a change in ownership it only ever got worse. Their maintenance staff used to be two guys and now it's just one and he looks worked half to death most days. I genuinely worry for his well-being working for such a soulless, greedy, and outright manipulative employer. I worry for the kind and incredibly patient woman that works the main office as well. Her company does not give her enough information to help tenants that care and doesn't give her the wiggle room to deal with mentally unwell and regularly hostile tenants. The Loop is such a fitting name for the mobius loop of misery that awaits any sane person that doesn't have the good fortune to go anywhere else."
