Durango Apartments

"I lived in Durango for over a decade and this is the worst rental experience. My next door neighbor had 7 people(5 adults, 2 toddlers) living in a studio making the traffic and noise unbearable! There are numerous unregistered broken down vehicles filling precious parking spaces. Police are constantly called for drunken fights and their strict policy stated in the lease is ignored. Get everything on paper because they will try to he say/she say an agreement then the slumlord will recant it all. The man can't even look you in the eye and give a straight answer. Very unprofessional management that don't address any real problems, they just want your money and don't care about your quality of life. Good luck getting in contact for emergencies because no one is ever at the office and they never answer their voicemail, or return calls and emails. I was assaulted at their apartment complex by another tenant and had to move asap, at the time they said that life happens and they'd work with me and give me back my deposit but like I said they will recant everything and keep all of your money. Save yourself the hassle and rent from a REAL property management!"

"This place is a rip-off. The rent is as high or higher than the nicer complexes in town. The move-in condition was horrible and the complex is not maintained well and filthy. The laundry facilities are horrible and often the machines don’t work properly. The washing machine destroyed my brand new blanket. The owners act like it’s a nuisance when you have a complaint. I have lived in soooo many places. This is by far the worst I’ve experienced. Do not rent from this place! The only benefit is the location. These are photos of the move-in conditions……. I just got a response from the owner blaming this on my addiction treatment. This behavior is a way to blame and avoid responsibility. I just tried to post photos of the conditions but my photos were either deleted or prevented from posting."

"Management is awesome! I love living here. Awesome view. Only problem is the tenants, EVERYONE slams their front doors, they run up and down the stairs. We've even asked them to just keep it down a bit, even have had to make noise complaints , nothing's changed. So if you want to live on the ground floor I'd go ahead and rethink that. I understand these are apartments and noise is bound to happen but it's like these people go out of their way to be loud. People suck."
