"We rented a skid steer for some general clean up of our property where we will be building. They had the trailer loaded and ready for us to pick it up and take it to the site.We had used the skid steer for 2 hours into an 8 hour commitment and hit a nail and had a flat tire. Jessie was kind enough on a Saturday to come to the property and get the tire taken care of, so we could continue to work. From start to completion, the customer service was great! I'm sure we will rent other equipment in the future."

"I've used Black Dog for years, and they won my business way back when, because they treated me like family or like an old friend. They worked around my schedule, and allowed me to drop the equipment off after dark. Because of that, I got it in my head that the time on the timer was all that mattered, regarding rental fees. I recently agreed with the counter person for a 4 hour rental, and said "I'll be there around 11:30 and return it after closing and drop the key in the after-hour box, like usual." She agreed, and quoted me the 4 hour fee. So, I did just that, and returned it having used 3.5 hours on the timer, and was charged an 8 hour fee because they actually charge from the time you leave to the time you return it, even if the equipment is available on the lot and not being used or needed by someone else. I called Black Dog, and they issued me a refund, and explained to me how it actually works. So, it was a misunderstanding of their policies on my part, and a failure to communicate on their part, but they went out of their way for me, just as they always have. I will continue to use Black Dog."
