"Really wish I would’ve read more reviews before renting from them. They had repairs they claimed they would do before we moved in, after living there 2 years nearly we ended our lease and they had never fixed it. Foundation was cracking in the bedrooms. Never cared about the people they allowed to move in, kissed our deposit goodbye practically due to “cleaning a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 hours” after I was on my hands and knees scrubbing from top to bottom pregnant. Claimed they didn’t receive my keys till 2 days later when I turned them into the drop box the end of the month so not sure how my keys grew legs and magically walked back to them after. Paid rent but then received a service notice fee that was eventually taken off because they agreed in error but once it was deposit accounting, that charge as well as another $40 randomly came through and then was treated super rude when I went and asked about it and even provided them photo evidence and then was threatened to be charged more because there were more “repairs” they couldn’t explain. Please save your family the financial heartache. I wish we would’ve as a young family of 4."

"Area Best currently manages multiple properties for me. The staff has always been friendly and attentive whenever I’ve called with questions. They use the “Buildium” app which provides impecable financial transparency and makes bookkeeping a breeze. With DMEA eliminating the owner agent agreements for landlords, Area Best has generously shouldered the responsibility of making sure the monthly electric bills are paid on time. I’ve been extremely happy with the services provided by Area Best Management!"

"Want rent money while kicking a family out just cause they didn't actually look at the trailer they bought from some other rental management water heater made the pipes leak an that was our fault now we got mold in our kids bathroom covered it an want us out but we still have to pay rent I know in fact I won't get my deposit back cause all the bad stuff I heard from them from other people that rented from them wish I had move when we got our chance the bringing of this year what bull slumlords hope you guys get a new trailer up here I will be letting the new people know if I see this trailer here when we move out"

"Should be called Area Worst Management! These people rented our two properties to families that really couldn't afford to pay the rent just so they could collect their 10% fee. We had several charges on our monthly statement which I'm sure were bogus. After 3 months living rent-free, we were finally able to evict one family. Area Worst is sleezy, underhanded and down right dishonest!!! Maybe they should be selling used cars instead!!"
