"I never write reviews, but I feel this is necessary. I am extremely dissapointed with the customer service of this company. I ship product to Amazon via the FBA program, and JB Hunt consistently gets assigned to my shipments. Every time they are assigned, the pickup is missed, and the shipment is canceled on their end automatically and sent to Amazon for re-tender. Trying to contact the customer service is abysmal. You will repeatedly get hung up on, or you will be transfered to the incorrect department and will either get hung up on or stuck on the directory. The directory says that you can "press _ or remain on the line to speak to a rep", but if you remain on the line without selecting an option, it tells you that you have selected an invalid option, and repeats the prompt again. Reaching them via email seems a bit better, but I have had many instances where my emails go ignored for days, even when sending multiple reminders. Overall, I would not recommend this company to anyone for anything. I genuinely can't help but laugh at how terrible their customer service is. It really feels like I'm calling a prank phone line that's meant to be rude to you or something. A lot of times, the person answering just says "hello" and doesn't say their name or the name of the company. I don't doubt that JB Hunt's freight services are up to par, but that doesn't matter when you can't even get freight to/from them in the first place. Please up your customer service game JB Hunt."
"Very disappointed in the service provided by JB Hunt. The individuals who made the delivery assembled our furniture while standing in mud, did not wear protective booties when entering my home, and then tracked mud all over my floors and carpet. When I acknowledged this, the response I received was "you have two options - you can file report with our dispatch location or you can clean it up yourself." Following this, I reached out to the dispatch and spoke to their sales manager multiple times who assured me he was taking care of this and would have a credit/refund issued for what I paid for shipping & handling. This occurred in late January and I still have not received a refund and have not been contacted since."
"I’ve updated my review due to the top notch follow through that occurred after our unfortunate initial delivery. I just would like to say a major thank you to Brian and the field manager along with the crew that did an exchange on our Tread. They did an excellent job and ensured things went smoothly. While our initial experience was less than stellar, Brian went above and beyond to make it right."
"Hands down the worst company to deal with. Customer service is non existent here all they do is take your number and run you around through different people that can’t give you an answer. Last delivery on Friday we took off work and stayed home all day waiting for the delivery. Got a notification saying attempted delivery at 545 when I was in the front yard hanging Christmas lights. At this point my wife and I started making calls to try and get ahold of a manager and supervisor. There was not success in getting ahold of anyone that had any answers. We were informed that the driver didn’t put in notes or pictures like they are supposed to when they show up to a house. This tells me that the driver is worthless and lazy and should be fired I want the management to make this right because I now will be out of two days worth of work that is money away from my family due to laziness of a single employee. The review’s online say 2.2 but should be a lot lower I would give the a 0 star rating if I could."
"Am I being punked? Is this company for real? Truly the worst customer service I have witnessed in a long time. At 8am I’m reassured that the delivery will be between 10am & 2pm, (this is after a 1 week delay from original date). At 10 am they say its going to be 2 more weeks because of a truck break down? So you are close by but it’s going to take 2 more weeks because of a broke down truck? Put it in another truck & deliver the sofa! Joybird please find another delivery company because I will never order from you again if this is the company you use. I can’t take another day off of work just to be canceled on again! I’m fully aware that there is no “broke down truck”, this is a broke down company who employs nasty rude people. They are extremely unorganized & unprofessional. If they ask if it’s ok to put you on hold, say No! Because they will NEVER come back to the phone."
