"Love, love, love this place! It is quaint, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Just what the hubby and I needed to reset from daily hustle and bustle. The cottage is very cosy, clean, and spacious. Everything you need for r&r is there. The innkeepers, Ann and Chuck, are very hospitable and welcoming. She had fresh baked cookies for us and they were delicious. There is a book binder for nearby restaurants with menu which was very helpful. I just cannot say enough words to describe how lucky we were to find this placeand we are already planning our next stay. Thank you!"
"This cozy retreat space is a minute from highway 24, close to amenities and fun activities, and yet quiet and peaceful, tucked away in the foothills of the Rockies and the Ponderosa pines of Cascade, Colorado. I had wifi, hummingbirds and twin baby fawns in the yard outside my window! Their gentleness matched the beauty and grace of the space and of its host. Ann is the perfect retreat host: kind and friendly, not overly attentive (so as to be annoying), and yet available always when you need or want her to be. I loved my stay, and plan to be back."
"We had the most amazing stay at The Sanctuary of the Rose. Anne was a fantastic host and was very responsive. Her attention to detail to ensure our stay was perfect is greatly appreciated! She even had fresh baked cookies waiting for us. We had events in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Canyon City. The home was a great central location for us! I highly recommend renting this home if you are looking for a place to unwind, rest and recharge!"
"I wanted to get away from the business of my life and my sister recommended the Sanctuary of the Rose. I know she usually makes yearly trips there, so I decided to make a trip myself to be surrounded by nature and quietness. It was fantastic! I was able to focus on prayer and absolutely loved the little labyrinth Ann has put next to the house. Having a little circular path to walk without having to drive there was wonderful! I'm hoping to go back sometime because it was such a beautiful and peaceful place to rest."
"This is my second time staying at The Sanctuary of the Rose for a quick personal retreat. It is an amazing place to renew and refresh. The sanctuary itself is perfectly decorated and appointed and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. All the thoughtful details make it special. The location is in a lovely wooded neighborhood and there is a beautiful private patio perfect for sitting and reading or enjoying morning coffee with an amazing view of the mountains just beyond the road. The sanctuary is easy to access but just enough out of the way to feel peaceful and private. The walking labyrinth is a wonderful way to enjoy the property while spending some time in introspection and fostering peace and relaxation. I just can’t say enough good things about the property, the space, or the hospitality at the sanctuary. I will be back!"
