"This place was phenomenal from the apps to the desert. After my visit i fully believe my server when he said there is nothing on the menu that falls short of delicious. The civeche was so fresh and flavorful. The calamari was cooked to perfection and the mole was out of this world. I also tried the duck which is a must try for everyone. I cannot recommend this bistro highly enough. Give it a try and you will join me in singing their praises. 1000% will be returning sooner rather than later"
"This is by far one of my favorite restaurants! I am a regular! That is because of the way you are treated when you come to dine. It is A1 customer service not some of the time but all of the time! Love the atmosphere. It is so chill! And the food is absolutely delicious! So good that I can never just stop at one order of wings! I think I've tried every flavor and most times 2 in one visit! And never once have been disappointed!"
"If your celebrating with a large group hands down this is the spot to go! Went with a group of 20 friends for a birthday and were able to order many options to share and each dish was outstanding! Flavors were so amazingly authentic and delicious! We were all thrilled with the service as well! The restaurant was packed so we thought we would have cocktails for a hour before appetizers arrived but happily this restaurant has terrific kitchen management and the dishes kept on coming! Staff was friendly and made us feel like family. Great vibes and Awesome Food!"
"I recently attended a wedding in Oaxaca city and fell in love with the food that the region has to offer. We were there for 5 days and ate a different dish every single meal, I couldn’t get enough of all the different flavors. Upon returning to Colorado I was craving those flavors almost immediately and found Zocalito just 2 blocks from where I live. I figured it would be extremely Americanized with tons of salt and no authentic spices but couldn’t have been more wrong. Everything I had there I ended up saying “this is some of the best ____ I’ve ever had”. The chef/owner goes directly to the source for the peppers... I felt like I was right back on a oaxacan rooftop being mind blown by the flavors accompanied by a good mezcal. If you’re a fan of good mole, go. If you want to explore New Latin flavors that isn’t just tacos, burritos, and green Chile, this is your spot!"
"I ordered the Mojito and some black bean dip which wasn't very good at all. The Mojito was fine but had to much mint so it overpowered everything else. The dip was very bland and not flavorful at all, same with the chips. I might go back again if I'm wanting bad Latin food, but that won't be for a while. I wanted to enjoy this restaurant but because what I ordered was so bad I didn't feel like getting anything else."
