"This is one of my favorite places in downtown. ... A place where you can actually sit down and read! This place has everything...unique books you can't find on Amazon, the best postcards and cards, cute gift boutique, a great kids' section, a cafe, unique wines with generous pours at great prices, some liquor and cocktails, and you can walk around with your drink. The book section is bigger than it looks. There is also a cute patio to enjoy the weather on. The staff here is hit and miss... I've encountered staff that just seem like they hate life and everyone in it.... And others that are very friendly and helpful (Shout out to Bailey at the wine bar.) They have live music and great events. I had the pleasure of meeting Richard himself and he was a pleasure to talk to."

"Poor Richard's is awesome! You've got a ton to choose from, be it a huge bookstore, a relaxing coffee shop, a game and toy store, or a cafe with tasty food! I usually grab a bite then wander through the rest. My kiddos got grilled cheese and PB&j, I got a Reuben, and my wife got pizza, and they were all excellent, plus the kids area in the back of the cafe has returned! It's also fun to look at all the books"

"Huge bookstore. Looks small from the outside but it's definitely not small. Interconnected with a coffee shop, kids place, and a pizza place. Definitely the coolest book store type place around. Anyhow lots of sections on all topics with great stuff just about Colorado. Pretty good kids section too."
