"The material was great; however they significantly damaged it when they strapped it down for delivery, after a 3 wk wait… which we were willing to wait to work with a local company. When asked if they were able to provide a small discount for the materials or delivery fee - Nikki, the manager/owner was extremely aggressive and rude. She offered flashing/trim (none of which was part of the original order), or to re-order causing another 3 week delay and thousands of extra $ for delayed work needed to get done as my contractor had cleared his schedule to install once we had the delivery scheduled. I explained we didn’t have a need for flashing/trim which is why we had not originally ordered and she said we were impossible to deal with because we were not willing to delay our project any further or take materials she offered that we didn’t need and didn’t order. We absolutely love supporting local and have worked with many materials on multiple renovations/remodels and have never run into this type of an issue with a merchant. We had such a good experience with everyone else we worked with at Metal Mart, mainly Serena - but Nikki, was very harsh and not at all what would expect from an owner/manager. It is Very disappointing as now our ‘new’ deck cover looks like it has wear and damage even though the materials are new. So terribly disappointed!!!"

"It was a DYI project for me because hiring someone was way out of our budget. The ladies in the office helped me from my initial visit to my final bag of screws. The store manager was not only helpful, but patient with all my questions, and assisted me with custom trim options. Overall, I had an excellent experience and will purchase more material from this Metal Mart when we can do our smaller barn."
