"There truly aren't words for how amazing Dr. Harris and the entire Shady Grove Fertility staff were for my husband and me. We had been trying for our first baby for over 4 years when we decided it was time to seek professional help. We started with some tests on both of us and determined the best route for our diagnosis very quickly in the process. Dr. Harris told us that I would be pregnant in 1-3 cycles and we got our positive in 2 medicated cycles! We did have some rest cycles in the middle of our treatment due to me developing a large cyst on my ovary but with PCOS it was not my first time with that experience. While it was very hard to take those rest months, the whole clinic was so incredibly supportive and even forwarded what payments they could to the next cycles which was absolutely huge for our budget! Speaking of prices, we were amazed at how little it truly costed us to work with the clinic at the end of it all. Granted, we did not have to go through IUI or IVF, but it was still much less than we expected in the end. Especially considering the level of care we received. I have been to many OBGYNs that simply tossed my concerns aside or handed me a PCOS pamphlet and called the next number. Shady Grove Fertility has officially raised our expectations for all medical professionals. We always felt like a member of the family. They answered even the silliest of questions, I knew I could always get members of my nursing team on the phone when needed, and I never felt alone. While the entire staff was above and beyond, I want to mention Moira, Shanice, and Kelsey as probably my favorite people on the planet. Moira was the best ultrasound tech I have ever had. She always made me feel safe and was very efficient at an unpleasant task. Shanice drew more blood from me than I hope to ever have drawn again but it was always effortless with her and she made me laugh through the tougher moments. Kelsey was one of my amazing nurses but we always felt extra comfortable with her even through bad news. She did one of my trigger shots that I would later have to do at home and was very helpful and gentle. I will definitely never forget these three amazing ladies and how they helped me get pregnant with my first baby. I can't stress enough that mentioning these ladies is not meant to downgrade any other staff member, I am grateful for every single person in the clinic. I should also add that even my husband, who is not the fondest of most doctors or medical experiences, was more than impressed with the whole clinic. He praised them every step of the way and always spoke highly of the whole staff. Even if we had walked away without a positive pregnancy test, we were simply grateful for everything we had learned and the amazing care we received. Now that we are pregnant, we are working on moving across the country and Dr. Harris has been reaching out periodically to check on us and has continued to remind us that she is still there to help whenever we need, despite no longer being in the area! As if we couldn't have felt safer with them, they're still there for us well after their job was technically done! If you're debating on giving Dr. Harris and her team a call, just call! You will not regret it."
