Reviews of WellLife Medical Centers
"Horrible experience with this place. Came in for a consult back in Nov. I had already gotten lab work done with my PC and discovered I had low testosterone. Came in to the office and was asked to fill out paperwork, which is to be expected. I work in a medical office so I know the drill with insurance etc. When speaking to receptionist I wanted to make sure my insurance company (BCBS) would be compatible. She assured me they took my specific plan (which the wound up not taking). Fast forward to the exam. Med technician seemed completely clueless and super uncomfortable talking. Fast forward to NP, upon entering her office I was not greeted and was just told to sit down. Then she proceeds to tell me how great/grand/wonderful she is and how she assists mostly military men. Tells me all about her husband and sons etc. No offense but that’s not really why I’m here. Spoke to me about my labs (which she finally took after repeating I wasn’t filling to pay for more) and said I needed to take hormone pills. This all took 10ish minutes tops. Most if which she just spoke about herself. After leaving her office I went back up to the receptionist and they swore everything would be sent off to start therapy. That if I didn’t get a call by next week to two weeks to give them a call. Two weeks go by and nothing. I called the office of the pharmacy I was given and was told they had no records of me. So I called WL and it took me 5 phone calls to even get ahold of someone. Come to find my stuff was never even sent off. Another week goes by and still nothing from the pharmacy. So I call again and still no file on me. Call back to WL and they said the fax never went though (this is twice now). Finally go my meds a month later. It was horrible. Screaming migraines pretty much every day. So I called the office and asked if there was something to be done/ if this was normal. Person on the phone was CLUELESS. Waited nearly a week for a phone call back. To say, “ yep this has nothing to do with the medication”. So I then called the pharmacist, which told me I was having a reaction and to decrease. I then called ML and asked to speak with the NP. Clearly this wasn’t going to work and when I’m paying out of pocket for the pills I need to to actually do something….Never got a call back. Never was given a second thought. I called several time to find she was “out of the country “.. Finally just gave up on them. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE: First and foremost, it’s called a “chief complaint” (aka what a pt is needing to be seen for). I understand how relationships are built in a business, and I also understand downtime. However, NEVER in my 10 years as a healthcare professional with the same equivalence as your NP have I spoke about myself more than I’ve asked about a patient. Tbh most people could care less. They are there to get their needs met while establishing rapport. Now, back to the basics, when a client has to call an office over and over to make sure their prescription gets sent in… that’s pathetic. Nor should it take nearly two months for one script. I never made demands and I sure as heck didn’t have unrealistic expectations. My expectations dropped immensely after the first three phone calls without so much as a call back and multiple people not knowing how to use a fax machine. I get taking responsibility seems to be an issue for this company. But let me clearly and unequivocally state that my “simple retaliation for unrealistic demands “ (as you so rudely stated) was literally THE BARE MINIMUM OF RUNNING A BUSINESS. Your own pharmacist that YOU recommended the script even told me to “not bother calling them. Call me instead. They’re impossible to get ahold of”. So… maybe it’s not just about a bad review. Maybe it’s just bad business on your end. Lastly, I find it ironic that ever bad review you’ve gotten… you’ve left nearly the same nasty reply. You might wanna rethink that too."
"Amazing clinic! Everyone is so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The doctor is so down to earth and seems to genuinely care about her patients. 10/10 would recommended."
"Susan is a gem! I am active duty military and I have been trying to find someone who could help me for years. I now go to Susan once a week and my tricare insurance covers everything! I have the utmost respect and trust in Well Life. So much so that my wife now sees her. Thank you!"
"I am not really wanting to have to post this, but I figure everyone needs to be made aware of the issues with the insurance billing. I have been going to WellLife Medical since June of 2023. My Co pay was 32 dollars at the time with my insurance except for blood draws ect. I did call and brought my issue up with one of the staff and I have waiting for call back from them I have not gotten this issue corrected and now my cost is 150.00 plus a visit compared to what it was. I talked with my insurance company, and they bills have issues with wrong codes and such causing this to cost me more than it should. I have stopped going for treatment because my financials cannot take such as hit weekly. I hope that this will be resolved but I do not hold much hope from reading the other negative comments. The staff is friendly and I have no issues there just with how the billing has been handled. I will revise and update if anything changes."
"The team at Well life are amazing. Very competent, quick and friendly. Dr. Jones is fantastic with monitoring my blood work every 6mos. With good advice to add or eliminate things from my diet. I love this office and they have been a blessing to my health through the addition of TRT."
