"I am absolutely appalled at Matthews Vu. We are new to the area and wanted to establish a pediatrician for our three young children. The appointment was very mediocre with no physical exam and mainly just speaking about each individual child. It was not like any other pediatrician we have been to where the doctors really make our children feel special and get on their level. What's worse is when we received the bill it was significantly higher than we have ever paid before. After trying to get in contact with the billing department multiple times last week and finally getting through this week they told us that there was nothing they could do because of the billing codes. The doctor who saw our children entered incorrect billing codes to get more money. Our children were healthy but came back with codes stating that 2/3 had acute illnesses which was incorrect. This is insurance fraud and I cannot in good conscience return or recommend them to anyone else. Please take your child to a pediatrician that cares and to an organization that has true values rather than trying to nickel and dime you."

"I do not recommend MV for care. No communication, not even though the patient portal. They have the highest physician turnover I’ve experienced in less than 6 months I’m on my second “provider” because my first one left. I’m currently experiencing poor communication and service. Yesterday I called MV 6x and Penrad 8x and I’m still no closer to getting the care I need. This place is terrible. I just want the correct referral and it shouldn’t take 4 business days to get that completed. UPDATE: it is now Dec 2023 and for some reason I thought why not and was still trying to be seen by this place. Since last year I’ve been assigned to yet another provider. Still not able to be seen. I arrived about 10 minutes late (tried calling and of course I was on hold until I arrived no answer) get inside and both front desk employees are busy with other patients. So of course it makes sense I’m checked in beyond the 15 min mark and then I’m refused to be seen for my annual exam, the office manager then says we can switch the visit to an office visit. So I couldn’t be seen for the visit that my insurance fully covers but magically there would be time for an office visit that requires a copay. This place is not in the business of helping as they have someone walking out who has needed to be seen beyond a normal timeframe."
