"I came in for what was supposed to be a routine hysterectomy. After my surgery, I was placed in a row of curtained-off cubbies, reminiscent of some assembly line. I kept telling the doctors, nurses, and whoever would listen that there was something wrong. They told me I should be going home within a 24-hour window. I was becoming delirious and suffering from severe pain. I was begging for help. I ended up staying here for nine days. During that time, they managed to completely lose me for around 5 hours while my daughter was searching the hospital for me, accidentally discharged me while I was delirious in a hospital bed, and then refused to provide care while they tried to figure out why the error occurred rather than fixing it, told my daughter I didn't need any additional intervention. Then within 3 hours ended up having to give me two units of blood, this is on top of so many other small issues. I continued begging them for help, and despite my daughter telling them something was wrong, they refused to listen. I finally agreed to be discharged after nine days. As soon as I got home, I fainted down a flight of stairs. My daughter took me to Lutheran Medical Center (a place I cannot speak highly enough of). They ended up having to do an emergency surgery and excise 18 inches of intestine because, in fact, there was something wrong. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!"
"I need them to fax a medical certification to my employer human resources so I can get fmla and not lose my apartment and car, job. I can't get them to take two minutes out of their day to fax two papers."
