"Going to Diane was the worst experience with a psychiatrist I've ever had. Do not go to her. She is unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. Diane prescribed me medicine for my ADHD, five months ago. The medincine is a controlled substance so you have to taper on and off (to avoid withdrawal symptoms). I love them. They have changed my life. I had a test in school I forgot about so I had to reschedule an appointment. I called Diane a week in advance to let her know. She didn't answer, so I left a message. I called three more times over the next few days and left a message with her and her assistant. I never got a call back to reschedule so I called her two days after my appointment was supposed to be Still, she never answered or called me back. At this point, I was out of my pills and I needed a written prescription. She knew I needed it considering that I was in every month with her. Now, it has been two weeks since, with no call back from her or her assistant. I have called every other psychiatric facility that accepts my insurance and they are on a month wait for new patients. So now, I am having withdrawals and am barely able to do my job or study for classes. This is all because of the lack of professionalism that Diane has shown. Not only has she not returned my phone calls, she will not call my father back (who also sees her every month for the same medicine). My uncle just had an appointment with her a few days ago so we know her phone works and we know she is still going about her business. For us? We just have to stop our medication cold turkey. Which is something Diane Dean called "dangerous" when she first prescribed me this medication. I hope she reads this so she will never do this to another patient and I hope potential patients read this to avoid this all together Don't waste your time or money"
