Reviews
"I had no issue making my appointment for my take home sleep test equipment. The staff was helpful on all instructions to prep me for the night. Returned equipment without an issue and now await my results. Extremely happy with my visit."
"It has taken me literal MONTHS of daily calls to get a SINGLE SIGNATURE from my doctor to sign the prescription so that I can get my Cpap supplies. My insurance company is disgusted. My cpap supply company is disgusted. I don't know how these people can continue to run like this legally, and morally, I don't know how they can continue to call themselves Jewish. Go ANYWHERE else."
"Dirty facility. Shared toilet very disruptive. Horrible, sagging and very uncomfortable bed. Holes in blankets. Holes in sheets. Makeup on pillow case. With the donations that National Jewish Hospital gets, they can afford proper bedding!"
"I don’t even know where to start. It’s been a disaster from the beginning. My doctor sent a referral back in March and I didn’t hear anything for two weeks so I called. They informed me they would call me when they got insurance approval. I didn’t hear anything until a few weeks later when I got a letter that just stated to call them to schedule. I called over six times before they could schedule me due to computer issues. I was finally scheduled in October. I went to my appointment and the doctor was the only good thing about my experience. I saw Dr. Malik and he was very informative and extremely pleasant. Thank goodness since I found out later that due to the time it took to schedule my insurance no longer covered that appointment. He ordered a sleep test and provided a number to call and schedule. I called to schedule the sleep study equipment pickup and again there was so much confusion and it took way too many phone calls going back and forth to get everything sorted. I finally got to pick up equipment two weeks or so later after insurance approval and did the test. It didn’t go well I slept terribly and the heart rate monitor fell off during it. I looked online and it seems to be a common thing that happens. I made sure to fill out the paperwork I got with my test and sent back. On the paperwork I stated I didn’t sleep well. Well no one called me in between that and my follow up. I go into my follow up which for some reason the front staff couldn’t schedule as a phone appointment and the first thing I get asked is did I sleep well? So even though they are constantly having you fill out questionnaires they must not be reading them. The provider was extremely friendly again but this clinic is so difficult to work with everyone but the providers. They are friendly but no one I’ve talked to seems to know what’s going on and no one is checking insurance. Expect to pay cash because even if you are checking with your insurance provider like I am something is going on. They make appointments for everything too so no wonder it takes so long to be seen. This clinic is very aware that many have to go through them. Again everyone is so friendly and the providers are informative but for a sleep clinic who has patients who are already extremely exhausted and fatigued they are too difficult to deal with."
"Very glad I didn’t schedule here even though they have the date I need. The woman I spoke to was rude and condescending, and insinuating that I didn’t actually have a referral. She said I would need to send it in if so did and that the date would be gone by then, but by the look of these reviews, I doubt that. I’ll stick with the people that didn’t have an immediate attitude over the phone. Please consider hiring sympathetic, caring people to talk about these health matters over the phone, as not doing so is a detriment to the disabled community. It is shameful the way health centers treat people in need."
