"Ahhh, relief! I was dealing with severe heel pain for months to the point where I began icing and elevating my feet. The owner explained about which types of shoes to stick with or to stay away from. We both thought custom orthotics would be the solution and they were! Pair these orthotics with a solid pair of shoes and your pain will go away within a few weeks. The owner was also very transparent about the costs which I thought was very helpful"

"I had previously scheduled an appointment at another orthotic shop and cancelled that due to the thoroughness of explanation of The Foot Mechanic's process and the benefits to be expected. At the appointment, I felt that Chan did a great job with a professional evaluation identifying my feet needs. My only disappointment was that when it came to pay, I felt I was a bit duped/surprised on the pricing structure and timeline. There's a possibility that it was properly communicated and I just misunderstood- but just make sure that you are aware going in of the cost for the evaluation and the cost of the orthotics. regarding the timeline, I was doing this around Thanksgiving, so there is some understanding due to holidays, but I had been told one time frame on the phone and then given a much longer one at the appointment. In the end, the orthotics were ready earlier than expected, and Chan went above and beyond to save me a trip to pick them up, by dropping them off at my place. Since wearing the orthotics, I have been very pleased and would definitely consider The Foot Mechanic again for any future orthotic needs. Update: I have gone back to The Foot Mechanic for additional orthotics and continue to be very pleased with results of the orthotics. I have been very pleased with my experience at The Foot Mechanic. I've had multiple orthorics made- custom for biking, hiking, athletics and every day. The thorough assessments have resulted in great orthotics that have solved my foot pain."
