"I am new to the Denver health system. Today was the first time I used my insurance. I have been experiencing terrible sciatica the past few months. I have been working with a physical therapist who advised me to get a repeat MRI because my symptoms are worsening. Unfortunately, I was not able to schedule an appointment with a primary care provider for 4-6 weeks. I was advised to go to urgent care. After reading the reviews I was concerned about the care I would receive. I was prepared to spend 2-4hrs waiting to be seen. I waited an hour, which was expected, to be seen. After that I worked with great nurses and a great Doctor who listened to my concerns. I was started on new medication to treat my pain and was also scheduled for an MRI. Although, I'm still dealing with pain it is helps knowing that there are providers who genuinely care about their patients. I'm looking forward to getting an MRI and finding out what other treatment I need."

"To say I’m disappointed with my experience at the Urgent Care is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I am completely and utterly HORRIFIED by the people who work here and they way they conduct this clinic. We started my visit on Wednesday with a bang, with the front desk lady having THE WORST attitude. People come here because they feel ILL and to have someone so condescending and rude to greet you at the front desk is extremely unsettling. After a maybe 5-7 min wait in the lobby I was escorted to a room where I would end up waiting 1hr and 20 min to be seen by a dr. This is WAY TOO LONG when someone already doesn’t feel well!!! This clinic was not extremely busy on this day and it was made even more obvious to me when the nurse aids were on Craigslist LOOKING AT CAT PICTURES instead of trying to ASSIST or AID as their job description says. Then the dr FINALLY comes in, upset with me because I complained about the unnecessary long wait. Saying “I have people who I need to assist” like yeah lady, I’m one of those people too. Even though I could clearly see that I indeed had an infection based on the results on MY CHART she wanted to not write me a prescription until she could “grow this bacteria in a lab” to see if it really was an infection. 3 days later and 3 days with an Infection that could spread and grow I get confirmation for what I’ve known the whole time. I WILL NEVER EVER again let Dr Huang see me or my family ever again."
