"Update #1: I am pretty sure when you call these medical offices they state that the lines are recorded, I will be following up during regular business hours to find out who this individual was who was laughing at me and if the lines are recorded they can go back and listen to the conversation and hear this employee laughing at me and giggling throughout the entire conversation while I was going through a serious issue. This was so condescending and nobody should ever support a practice who hires employees who laughs at patients who are going through a very challenging situation. I will go to the fullest extent to make sure this person is held accountable. Absolutely awful experience and I never even ended up coming here. At first I called mental health partners due to a medication withdrawal I am going through that can have serious/deadly side effects and they told me to seek out an urgent care or emergency room before I could see a primary care doctor due to it being a weekend. The first time I called they were helpful and gave me a number to call to talk to someone, and then I got referred back to this urgent care and when I explained the situation again and told them that they told me to call back the girl on the phone who I had previously talked to was laughing throughout the entire conversation while I am going through a serious withdrawal. Whoever was the nurse on the phone who I talk to working on January 20th towards their closing time should seriously not have this job. Do not come here."
"Best urgent care experience we have ever had. We were visiting from out of state when our daughter came down with a nasty ear infection and cough. We headed into the urgent care, prepared to spend the whole morning there. Instead, we went through intake, were seen by a very caring staff member (Stacie), and had prescriptions in hand in 50 minutes! Every single person we interacted with treated us with care and compassion. I couldn't recommend this place enough!"
"Not the best. Came in, feeling extremely fatigued and was throwing up. I had fainted before. My student health center told me to go and come here. After some vital signs, the team told me they couldn't do anything and told me to go to the ER, even though I 1. Had already gone and 2. The nearest ones that took my insurance were 30 minute away."
"Two days after injuring my left ankle, Boulder Medical Center Urgent Care informed me they had a very short wait. I went there and intake was quick but then, at Imaging, there was a long holdup due to a portal glitch. Dr. Rosemary Greenslade came in to tell me my ankle was sprained. I asked her if she was sure, as I had a similar injury three years before on the right ankle. She did re-check the x-ray and returned with the same result. I was sent home with a cloth brace which was inadequate and very uncomfortable. I did NOT receive written instructions nor did I receive a copy of my Patient Plan, in fact had to return to BMC the next day in person to get a copy! Health Images (who does the imaging at BMC) later reviewed the x-rays and suspected a fracture. An orthopedic surgeon also looked at the images and said it was certainly fractured and it was so obvious that no additional x-rays were needed. Although all personnel were kind and personable, I would be reluctant to return."
"I thought that I may have broken my toe and came in for an X-ray. I only had an hour before I had to leave for the airport and wasn't sure that the timing would work. I asked the staff if they could get it all done in an hour and they went out of their way to get me in, examined, complete the X-ray and review it with me - all within 45 minutes! Also, my X-ray ended up being out of network but only cost $60 which seems super reasonable. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you BMC Urgent Care!"
