Reviews
"Highly recommend their educational offerings. I really enjoyed the recent mushroom art class!"
"An excellent location right by downtown Boulder. On a weekday, pay parking was immediately available. Look for sign that says how you can go online and pay. There is only a $2 entrance fee for the museum. The current exhibit was interesting but not always well explained as to the meanings intended with the pieces. Recommend looking at what is showing in the gallery before you go."
"This was my second visit to the museum. Each time I have been impressed with the art. They show 3-4 artists at a time in their small space. Here are some pictures from the current shows. They have a cute gift shop, too. Go visit and support this great museum!"
"This is a small but impactful museum - only three galleries but interesting artists. The three in the fall/winter selection are a collection of altered photographs (often polaroids), by splicing and intercutting several shots in a collage. (By Kevin Hoth & George Perez.) Then a black artist who combines photographs and printing techniques for rich examples of everyday life (by Kristopher Wright.) And upstairs, a collection of projected photos on the shifting nature of "home" (by Erin Hyunhee Kang.) Also, it's free on Saturday and right next door to the Dushanbe Tea House, so if you're there already, you might as well stop in. The small store is worth a look, too, I liked some of the earrings on sale."
"This is a somewhat small museum with an interesting collection of works. It was very affordable and there is a nice little tea shop right next door. I very much enjoyed the fabric art and textiles on the 2nd floor. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to view the world from a different perspective."
