"Amazing people who really care The people here saved my life"
"Their mission goal on their website quotes, “Care for the community through exemplary healthcare that is accessible and affordable.” My main question from this quote is how is it “accessible” when nobody answers the phone??? Obviously, not answering the phone is a long recurring theme with this place from other reviewers. This was my experience too. When you call nobody will pick up. When you leave a message on their voice mail, they will not return your call no matter how long you wait. This place has no basic understanding of how a medical front desk should function properly. They are supposed to be the first point of contact in a medical facility or doctor’s office. This is not the case here. I know it’s a nurse-managed facility, but their front desk situation is incompetent. By not answering the phones and returning messages, you are basically neglecting people in need. Dealing with Sheridan Health was a big waste of time. I would highly recommend finding another health clinic that has a confident front desk to address the needs of the patient."
"Sure, when you go in for a visit, the Doctors and workers are nice and helpful enough. However, if you ever want to get a hold of someone at the clinic over the phone -- good luck. I've called dozens of times to no avail for things such as: 1. My crucial blood work results (after waiting two weeks with no call) 2. My prescription refill for my INSULIN (which the Doctor only gives me a one month supply for?) 3. Setting appointments When you call and, by roll of the dice, manage to speak to a human, you've only won the first battle. The second battle is hoping the person on the other end actually fulfills your request! I shouldn't have to grovel to my doctor every month and say "Please doc, PLEASE refill my insulin if you can spare your precious time." Why do my refills last one month to begin with? I'm going to have diabetes this month, the next month, and every month going forward. No doctor has ever given me just a one month refill. Whatever their issue is, whether it's under-staffing or just not caring, it's not worth it to you. Go find a healthcare clinic that will actually pick up the phone and tend to your BASIC needs as a patient."
"I absolutely love everybody at this clinic and I honestly don't know what I would do without them. They genuinely care and work to make sure you get the best medical care possible and even when life kicks you around sometimes ( like it has alot of us over the past few years)and you loose your insurance or the ability to pay very much or even pay anything at all they will never turn you away. It's not all on them though they can't read your mind but if your honest and up front with what's going on with you,It's been my experience they will do their level best to provide care for you in the easy times and the hard times. Given that a huge number of people they serve are under insured or uninsured and don't have much money leaves them working on tight budget and only as much staff as that budget allows so yes they are crazy busy and you might have to call often and learn to use the patient portal system and be proactive about your needs. I have been going here along time and nobody has ever been rude to me or didn't try everything possible to help me and I find with taking responsibility and being an adult and proactive about your health needs and any financial concerns goes very long way towards not having any emergencies concerning your regular routine ongoing health concerns and medications and financial concerns. Finally show some grace there may be the occasional break down in communication. Honestly I'm surprised it doesn't happen more as busy as they are. When and if this should happen don't take it personally and start being the judge of everyone's work ethic or qualifications. Be an adult and communicate this to them and it be quickly rimidied. SHERIDAN HEALTH SERVICES provide so much for so many especially so many of the disenfranchised and their not getting near as much money as they could in the private sector of medical care. They choose to serve this community and those that the private sector wouldn't even consider treating because of their insurance or financial status. They're working here because they know this and believe quality health care should be for everyone. That being said I hope you would join me in giving Everyone at SHERIDAN HEALTH SERVICES a big round of applause and a heartfelt THANK YOU."
"When I was first referred to Sheridan Health in 2019 I was skeptical, but I was trying to get away from the Denver health clinics as I’ve experienced some trauma through receiving care from them. My first couple of visits were great, my needs were met, everything was great. Fast forward to now I am seriously afraid of other doctors because I complained about a rash September of this year and when I was finally able to be seen Dr. Morgan Bousse told me it was probably flea bites from my cat and sent me home with benzoyl peroxide (a cream used for acne). It is now December and I am at my breaking point I have tried to call to schedule an appointment on numerous occasions and was even hung up on. My skin has gotten worse since and yet to improve not to mention my quality of life, the pain I have been experiencing for months has been excruciating not to mention the ER visits. I keep being told to refer to my PCP but I’m honestly in no mood not be taken seriously once again. I have multiple sclerosis, and I get doctors and nurses are in such high demand but I am so tired of my health issues constantly being put on the back burner I have done nothing but cry the past couple months because nothing I do at home is working, this pain is so unbearable it makes me literally want to end my life. I have never felt more helpless and if there is something major wrong with me because no one took the time to look deeper into it I want it to be known that it started here. Do not entrust these people with your health. They do not care."
