"My daughter has been dancing at Revolution for 9 years!! She started at age 7 with the competitive team sparklers. I saw the talented and experienced senior dances at that time and always wondered if my daughter would dance like the older girls. As years went by we would meet with Toni and discuss my daughter development. Toni was always very supportive and encouraged us to be patient as she develops over the years. Her body will grow and develop into a talented and advance experience dancer. As a parent I would educate my daughter that she is the one that needs to apply herself in the classes and keep reaching for her goals as a dancers. It's always a struggle seeing your child in competive sports not being on top, but my daughter was focused on herself and determined to be the best. Toni and Ceresa have continued to support and grow my daughter into an amazing talented dancer. Also the instructors we have had along our journey have made a hugh impact with her growth. Toni and Ceresa have supported my daughter with all the outside studio experiences opportunities that have been offered to my daughter at competitions. Most importantly these ladies love the families that come to the studio and want to be apart of the team. They always have warm welcoming arms to include everyone. They even include the dancers siblings that don't dance and make sure they are apart of the RDA family. We love the feeling of walking into the studio knowing Toni, Ceresa and the staff will be there with opening arms. RDA is a second home for us. They provide great dance training to get your dancer where they want to be. The ladies strive to support and spread dancers to become an advanced experience dancer throughout their years. We love that we found RDA and all the opportunities they have provided to our family. It has been a healthy positive journey and more years to come!!!"
"The good is that the technique taught is solid, there’s absolutely no body shaming, most any of the drama between the dancers has been eliminated and they offer several styles of dance. not everyone is besties but the kids seem to genuinely enjoy like each other and enjoy dancing together. The front desk staff and office manager are great, experienced people and care about the kids and families. Location is good as there isn’t a lot in the area for Dancers. They have homework space for working on school work between classes. The bad is that consistency is nonexistent from studio owner and a couple of teachers with class times adjusted day of, last minute rehearsals and not a lot of concern for what else families may have going on like siblings in sports. Speaking of elective things there’s a bit of pressure to be more involved. Be prepared to make allowances to your schedule regularly and even if class time is reduced don’t expect a credit back to your account or an offer of extra time on another day. Teacher attendance is better for some than others and one teacher seems to be sick for weeks on end luckily there’s usually a substitute. The ugly is that there is pettiness exhibited from owner and her daughter who also teaches and at times and it is public. I know that often creative individuals are a little demanding and not accomodating to others but it’s not a good look. The best way I can describe is that the studio owner seems to care more about how she is perceived than how she behaves or runs things. She passes blame, avoids topics, speaks negatively about those who disagree with her, those who don’t accomodate her and otherwise acts in a manner that I disagree with so I’ve found it best to try to avoid her. I’ve overheard negative talk about past dancers who left and teachers who were not present, and would hate to think what else she says when no one is around. Why do I stay? My kid likes dance and routine and is used to it. If she said she wanted to go somewhere else I would not miss the place. The best advice I could give is to check it out and see if it works for you. I wanted to be honest but the intent isn’t to scare you and this isn’t a one star review by any means. If you don’t engage with the studio owner much you eliminate stress. Depending on which teachers you go with you can eliminate even more. I recommend Miss Laurie and Miss Liz for consistently, technique, and a very positive kid focused attitude. If your child is younger or non competitive it is a very good choice but don’t get too deep in or you can’t avoid the issues mentioned. Miss Kim and MissHope keep things going pretty smoothly so try to deal with them as much as you can. To the studio, consider the fact that I didn’t even want my family’s last name attached to anything that you might perceive negatively because I don’t want my child treated differently for my sharing an honest review. Whether or not you believe you would I do. For the love of God get your house in better order From a concerned parent who is tired of dealing with it"
"My goddaughter has attended RDA for almost 6 years and her growth is amazing. Not only are the coaches/instructors fantastic, the friendships she’s developed within the RDA community is priceless. If you’re searching for a studio your child can grow and evolve in, RDA is it!"
