"As someone who grew up on the water, I was extremely apprehensive about hitting the slopes (especially at 33), but Katie and her team went above and beyond to make sure my experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Ski Maxx is unparalleled. They are patient, kind, knowledgable, and incredibly skilled. This place not only helped me build confidence before hitting the mountain, but tailored their instruction to suit my individual needs. When I finally made it out to the mountain on my own, my first day skiing was a dream. I had a solid foundation and it was a total success. I was confident, comfortable, and maneuvered the slopes pretty dang well for a first-timer. Definitely owe it all to Ski Maxx! I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars. Highly, highly recommend! Kids, adults, families... definitely worth it! :)"

"I received a 45 minute lesson as a Birthday present in preparation for an upcoming family ski trip. I'm not exactly a first-time skier, but I definitely did not have the feel for skiing and my past skiing experiences included a lot of fear (including tears), and left me bruised. They were friendly and patient. It was a non-intimidating and fun way to learn, especially for a beginner adult. My 45 minutes flew by! They started at the beginning to check my knowledge, reviewed the basics, broke down the motions to practice them bit by bit, and helped me to put it all together. It was a magical Aha! moment to feel what skiing should feel like! I'm a skier! I'm skiing!"

"This place was recommended by a friend since we were newbies that have an upcoming ski/snowboard trip planned. I am so so happy I did it. It was the most perfect lesson I could have asked for - they went over things I wouldn't have even known to ask/think about! They also offer additional lessons to build off the first lesson, but the first lesson makes me feel more ready than I had! Very knowledgeable and kind staff that made the lesson super smooth and relaxed!"

"Katie is a phenomenal instructor. Her expertise is unmatched — as is her sense of humor. Her patience, knowledge, and passion for teaching are top tier. As someone who grew up on the water, I was worried about trying something new… especially at my age. Katie met me with grace and compassion. After a few sessions, I was stoked (and quite confident) to get out there. I wish I could give Ski Maxx a 100/10, but it only lets me give a 5 star review… so 5/5 it is. If you, your kids (super kid friendly!), or whoever, are looking to get some practice or familiarity in before hitting the slopes, then this is the place to do it!
