"My daughter was given an evaluation of how she can improve her fitness. Riglie was kind, generous with her time, and really showed us the best way to go about getting the right conditioning for her age and height."
"My trainer Alec did not listen to my goals or needs. He was not empathetic. I model and was 100 lbs. I told my trainer I wanted to workout and not focus on weight/numbers but definitely fuel myself not force feeding myself. I’ve had trainers for at least 7 years. I told him my medical history was tearing 2 arteries in my neck and I did not feel comfortable lifting heavy. one of first couple days I felt sick lying on gym floor couldn’t finish workout and he left without asking if I was ok. I called and told the manager I wanted to work with another trainer and she asked if I could finish the week with him. After that he seemed more engaged so I continued. My trainer told me I was at very unhealthy weight and needed to gain 20 lbs not just 10. He told me I would not get stretch marks. I gained 10 lbs and got stretch marks on my thighs/hips. I made it to 112 and he said I’m still not where I need to be (too thin).I was worried because of his commentary I was unhealthy but I have a small frame. It impacted my last photoshoot I was told I almost ruined my modeling if I got to 120 by many people I work with and that I’m not a fitness model. There are healthy women at 105. He was trying to fit me into one way of training and being. I told my trainer I wanted to stay a natural, healthy weight but fitness is very important to me. After working out with this trainer I was told I have a pinched nerve on my neck and inflammation in one side upper back through shoulder and not to lift weights. Now I don’t know what to do. I told him I had shoulder pain and wish I had listened to my body. I wish the trainer had worked with my personal needs instead of making me feel bad about my weight or not wanting to lift heavy. I came in right intentions of wanting to just workout with support. He made me feel bad about not wanting to lift heavy because to him it’s not heavy.. I was trying to prove I could instead of that’s not right program. I was force feeding myself to get to 112 . I wouldn’t even be able to stay 120 without tethering myself to gym/food that wasn’t natural. He would always walk ahead of me. Overall it was a disappointing experience. my trainer was operating in his ego, cold, immature and arrogant when I communicated my needs and feelings. I didn’t trust myself. I feel disheartened. I don’t feel there were any apologies or ownership by the trainer or gym . I was told the original trainer felt bad and didn’t feel he did anything wrong. People write reviews because they want to b heard."
"I usually NEVER leave reviews on Google but I felt compelled to share my experience with Landow. I've been a member of several gyms, both big national chains and small boutique gyms. Almost everyone was the same : no personal touch, no accountability, and nothing "new". This gym was a breath of fresh air. The facility is clean, equipment is easy to use, and they have every piece of equipment possible. They sanitize everything, people aren't breathing all over me, and the staff is warm and inviting. Their pricing is reasonable. It's not the cheapest gym in Denver but that's a good thing. You get what you pay for, and will never work out or train anywhere else. They are awesome."
"The facilities are excellent, as well as the training. As a former multi-sport coach, they work on proper techniques, skill set, strength, conditioning, and performance improvement. They watch the individual athlete, as they go through the training. It doesn't matter what sport you are into, this is the place you want to be. Highly recommend."
"I have been training with coach Augie for years. This place is top notch and the trainers are the best in the business. The facility is a great size and they're always getting new equipment. I highly recommend this gym no matter what your fitness or sports goals are. They work with your schedule and have very competitive pricing."
