"Read the small print. They are not flexible or understanding when it comes to refunds, cancellations or changes. Had to cancel my room due to a wedding that was called off. They were not understanding even though the request was made roughly 2 weeks in advance. Most Hotels are more understanding when it comes to this type of occurrence, especially with more than 10 days notice."

"Awesome venue! They do way more than I would expect and help you every step of the way, planning was way more simplified and easy and overall very stress free and beautiful wedding. The only drawback was the lodging coordination (run by different people than the venue itself). Very challenging to communicate with, wasn't available during their listed hours, rude, and gave very inconsistant information and seemed to want to over charge at every turn. In the end, the lodging people did try to make things right despite the bad communication but I would highly recommend paying very close attention to their statements and having everything they say on record. The Wedgwood weddings company is incredible though! I highly recommend them and probably spent half what we were planning for far greater service. Every employee went above and beyond and were all fantastic at their job (some even getting along with our guests so well they felt like they were there as family)."

"Our daughter got married here last year and we couldn't have asked for a better location to have her wedding. We have had nothing but good comments made by family and friends that attended the wedding. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was so beautiful and relaxing, We have very opinionated family and friends and they all loved the entire evening. Highly recommend Lower Lake Ranch for weddings, family reunions and weekend getaways. So beautiful, the owners are awesome and we enjoyed just being there for a wedding. Definitely will come back for a weekend retreat."

"Lower Lake Ranch is not only a gorgeous setting for a wedding, but the food, service, and on-site lodging are wonderful. Most of our guests were from out of town and we heard time and time again that this setting was stunning and that everything about the lodging and the wedding were perfect. Throughout our 2 year engagement, Vera and Bonnie answered all of our questions in a timely manner and helped us not worry about anything day-of. Each staff member was flexible, helpful, and kind. Vera has so much experience and has a lot of useful tips and is straight forward. My husband and I were both unbelievably happy with the wedding and LLR is so much to thank for that!"

"This is, without a doubt, the most stunning wedding venue I have ever been to. I was a maid of honor at a recent wedding and was pleasantly surprised by how well orchestrated the weekend flowed. The scenery alone kept my friend cool, calm, and happy. The owners were very attentive to not only the brides needs, but her guests as well. The room I stayed in was both charming and comfortable. Just enough glam mixed with just enough Colorado ranch style. We had time to enjoy the outdoors and attend a beautiful wedding. The location of the wedding was outdoors and tucked into the perfect little alcove. The great outdoors intermingled with beautiful flower arrangements made for a very romantic backdrop (the wedding photos proved it!). The wedding hall was clean, well lit, romantic, and adequate in size. The wooden beams and wood burning fireplace made it just perfect. I would have loved to have gotten married here and enjoyed my stay. I would most definitely recommend this venue for a wedding."
