"We reserved this motel sight unseen, and were genuinely impressed! A gem of a lodging place that rivals a fine B&B. The room was classy with upgraded decor and hardwood floors. The levels of service and amenities exceeded any lodging on our 3 week western trip. Wished we had time to enjoy the nicely designed garden seating, and fire and BBQ areas. Owner Kris made us feel extremely welcome, and we look forward to visiting here again next year."

"Great location to break your trip when driving the West Elk route. They accept your furry companions as well. The breakfast is beyond what you’d expect on roadside motel including hot sausage patties and eggs."

"We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Our room was clean & a good size. The bed was very comfortable. The owner & the staff were so genuine & pleasant. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. My only regret is that we didn't get to sit around the fire pit under the gazebo. We will have to do that next time. I'd recommend the Hotchkiss Inn to anyone looking for a nice & friendly place to stay!"
